Somehow got 4 minutes' worth.
OL Tope Imade of Arlington Bowie has committed to Texas.
We got one!

Quotes from OL Tope Imade from Arlington Bowie after committing to Texas (24/7):
“I talked to my dad about it, and we decided to go with Texas,” Imade told Horns247. “They didn’t have any offensive line commits, so I thought it would be great if I could be their first one."
“The coaches showed they really wanted me, and my former teammate Edwin Freeman was in my ear about it too. Even Shane (Buechele) sent me some messages on Twitter. It just felt right.”
“My dad and I thought it was a great place,” Imade said. “I saw all the key locations around campus and really enjoyed watching the spring game. I was the first recruit the staff came up to, so they made me feel special.”
“Coach Wickline is a funny guy, but he’s strict too,” Imade said. “I think he’ll be a good coach to play for. I also talked to Coach (Charlie) Strong two days ago, and Coach BJ (Brian Jean-Mary) keeps up with me daily. They are all cool and genuine guys.”
Damon Sayles, formerly of ESPN, now works for Bleacher Report, wrote an article this morning about how Shane Beuchele was working 5 guys pretty hard trying to get them to commit here. The 5 guys were Devin Duvernay, Jean Delance, Devah Whaley, Christian Wallace, and Tope Imade.
Imade committed a few hours later, lets hope this is a trend.
proves that swoopes is a legit spread qb .................. swoopes looked comfortable when texas utilized the hurried up pace last year...............

I don't know about "legit" but he is definitely a quarterback who plays better in the spread.
Just a reminder that TE Jack Stoll of Aurora, CO will be in Austin tomorrow.
If ATM takes another OLineman I might hurt myself.
FYI Scout is reporting Stoll will be in town with his family for a week and will leave next Thursday.
OrangeBloods is saying he'll be here for only two days.
Surprising that they wouldn't reschedule with the terrible weather in the Austin area. Just a thought since he's traveling in from Colorado.
JUCO CB J'Marcus Rhodes of Kilgore College talks about Texas (OrangeBloods):
"We (Rhodes and Coach Traylor) had talked earlier in the week, but they haven't had their defensive meeting with coach Strong and coach Vaughn," Rhodes said. "But he said from what he's seen, it should be a 100 percent go for an offer once they all see (the film)."
"I know a lot about Texas because one of my family members went there, Earl (Thomas), who plays for the Seahawks. I actually talked to him the other day. I would always go up there, kick it with him sometimes when I was in the Austin area. So I've been on campus, seen all that."
OrangeBloods saying SG Kameron McGusty of Katy Seven Lakes will be on campus this weekend:

Fresh off capturing a coveted scholarship offer from the Oregon Ducks, big-time wide receiver Tre Nixon says he's "definitely" visiting a trio of out-of-state programs over the summer, but has set his sights on a half dozen more as well.
Oregon is a scholarship offer that Tre Nixon, a speedy offensive weapon and the 53rd-ranked wide receiver in the country on Scout, has coveted since he realized he could make a splash on the biggest stage in college football. Already flooded with 40-plus opportunities on the recruiting trail, Nixon had his prayers answered on Tuesday when the Ducks opted to pull the trigger and become the latest school to serve up a scholarship offer. The Ducks visited Viera (Fla.) High on Tuesday and found no reason to wait. "I'm really excited and pumped about the opportunity," Nixon said. "It's the family team and my dad's whole side and step mom love them. I like their offensive scheme and how they would use me."
Once school breaks for the summertime, Nixon will be spending the majority of his downtime visiting schools and seeing which ones will provide him with the opportunity to blossom both on and off the football field. Oregon's eye-popping campus in Eugene is one of several expected stops for the elusive pass catcher out of Brevard County.
TRE NIXON
Viera HS / 6'1" / 170 lbs
POSITION - WR
WR RANK - 53
OFFERS - 46
Analysis - Plays all over the field in high school, but more of a slot receiver on the next level. Great burst when he gets the football and quickly gets to top speed. Can catch the ball in traffic and plays bigger than his size. Hands are a real strength. Natural receiver and catches the ball with his hands away from his body. Speed and ability to make defenders miss could get him a look at punt returner too.
"I'll probably take a couple of visits out west and up north again," Nixon said. "Texas, Texas A&M and Oregon are three schools I'm definitely going to be visiting this summer. I know we definitely want to go up and hopefully visit Michigan and Tennessee. After we're done visiting those two schools, I'll probably go back and visit Duke, Ohio State, Penn State, and probably Notre Dame as well." Nixon, who's in the midst of constructing tight-knit relationships with a number of his suitors, says a pair of out-of-state schools have been consistent and with him throughout his whole journey on the recruiting scene. "The two main ones (that I'm closest with) are Duke and Penn State because they've been there since way, way back," Nixon said. "I probably have the closest relationship with those two schools, but there's a lot of schools that I'm definitely building a good relationship with."
Nixon, who "definitely" plans on revealing his decision sometime before his senior campaign, could trim down his lengthy offer sheet as soon as this weekend. "I'm going to try to narrow it down either this weekend or over the next two weeks," Nixon said. "I just want to go into summer knowing which schools I want to visit or revisit."
