Considering Magic chose him, I wouldn't doubt that actually happened

I watched some of the Grizzlies/Nets tonight and D'angelo has definitely looked better than Lonzo to me and he can definitely shoot.

Lonzo Ball had a decent game vs. the Mavericks on Friday with 10 points, five steals, four steals, one triple and five turnovers in 28 minutes.
This was his second game of the season with five steals and the fifth of his career. Ball hit 4-of-9 shots and 1-of-2 free throws, and it's a good sign that he was able to play 28 minutes on the second night of a back-to-back since he's coming off an ankle tweak. Ball has been a bust, but has the tools to make a quick turnaround with his counting stat upside. Dec 1 - 1:27 AM

no doubt about that, he is a loser type of player though. Him as a pg has consistently hurt Jarett Allen and the team success. He just isn't that good, and he doesn't put players in a position to succeed. And of course he's a trainwreck defensively.

I agree. These s always look for any excuse to bash Lonzo but I’m sure more than 80% of the league would choose Lonzo over Dlo. Lonzo passes better defends better and makes more winning plays. Obviously dlo has a better shot but that’s it. Just because some one scores 25 points people act like their a superstar but they don’t see the small things. In today’s nba scoring is exaggerated. Mitc scores 30 and allows 40 and they praise the out of him. This is why I fell in love with kawahi . He’ll drop 25 and lock his man down at the same time .

Not being able to score is a HUGE liability in Todays NBA. Its all about the scoring now. Even Pop said he wouldnt take a Longo trade, because he cant shoot. He said the Spurs need shooters. Todays NBA ............everyone has to score, and I mean everyone. PGs in the 80's and 90's could get away with 10pts, 8 assists a game, not anymore......PGs need to avg over 20 and still get 8 assists.

How about those same guys holding Lonzo to 4/11 f/g, 1/3 3ptrs in 37 min of play.

    His defense is fine
It's the offense that needs work
But whatever I'm done defending him

That missed layup was all sorts of embarrassing. I felt ashamed for the Lakers to be honest. What a botched pick.

I knew one of you farmers would chime in with some bull

He is an elite passer, elite rebounder, and an elite defender. His shot will come in due time. When it does, he'll be a complete player.

He is also a willing passer to go along with his extremely low usage rate (ranked 288th). What does that mean? Free agents will want to play with him. Like the Kang.
