I like how they put the "you break it, you buy it" rule in. Also I cant wait to see the "next Anderson Silva"
-Dana White recently mentioned during an interview with Kevin Iole of Yahoo, that the Ultimate Fighter season 8 contestants were told that if they broke anything in the house that they would have to pay for it. The UFC spent over $70,000 fixing up the house from last season.
-White also mentioned that the company has discovered the "next Anderson Silva" on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter. The names of the fighters on the season are expected to be released in August.

Jeremy Jackson, who appeared on season four of "The Ultimate Fighter," was arrested late last month and charged with seven felony offenses, including two counts of forcible rape.
The 26-year-old Jackson was apprehended on June 30 in Oxnard, Calif., and is being held in a Ventura County jail, with bail set at $1 million.
Officials with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department confirmed the arrest and charges with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). Events surrounding the arrest were not made available.
In addition to the two counts of forcible rape, Jackson was charged with kidnapping to commit another crime, first-degree residential burglary, assault with a firearm, dissuading a witness by force or threat, and criminal threats. At his initial arraignment, three additional charges -- all felonies -- were levied against Jackson, which included two counts of sexual assault and one count of sex crimes (aggravated cir stances).
Jackson is due in Ventura County Superior Court again Wednesday, at which time he is expected to enter pleas to the charges.
Jackson's appearance on the fourth season of "TUF" was short-lived. UFC President Dana White kicked him off the reality show after he violated rules by leaving the fighter house to meet a woman.
He was invited back to fight on the season finale and suffered a neck injury in a submission loss to Pete Spratt.
That guy was such an idiot. I remember his sob story and how this was his only shot at getting his life back together and he blew it right away.
On a brighter note...this kid is going to win the next TUF http://joeduartemma.fragmob.com/
From what I've read it is, but I wouldnt post something that would spoil the entire season.

"Former NCAA wrestling champions Jake Rosholt, Johny Hendricks, and Shane Roller have all signed multi-fight contracts with Zuffa-owned World Extreme Cagefighting"
Keep an eye on Jake Rosholt...he is a badass. So is his younger brother but he just started training MMA.
Thank you!! Yes, he said his goal was to compete in the UFC.

He's already a legend...
His dad posted on the Underground a while back and seemed to have the right outlook...he'll be an 8th grader this year, so he won't hit the HS wrestling scene until 2009...
He might be old enough to make the last season of tuf that’s currently signed up.
Last time I saw him he lost to Jorge Santiago.
Last night I saw him fight as well. Dude must be banged up to take 8 months off. I am sure he has gotten several offers.
Jesse Taylor is in trouble again....411 mania/mma
During an interview last Thursday, former Ultimate Fighter contestant Jesse Taylor may have ruffled a few feathers within the UFC with his comments towards Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's recent run-in with the law. Apparently Taylor said "What goes around, comes around, I guess." in regards to the comments that Rampage had made to Dana White about his concerns with how Taylor would represent the UFC. However, on Friday, Taylor seemingly backtracked a little with his comments:
"I feel bad for the guy. Being on top of the fighting world and then not being there is going to destroy you. I think it was tough to handle for the guy. I wish he gets better, I didn't know he was in this situation. He's in a lot worse situation than I was in."
UFC management is said to be very angry with Taylor's first comment about Jackson. Rampage is very tight with management and is not a guy you want to make negative public comments about. Don't be surprised if Taylor is released this week.
It airs Saturday on CBS at 8.
Is it pre-recorded? 3 le fights in 1 card, looks to be interesting. I just hope they put a leash on the doctors this time.
