Would have never thought A "B" movie would be so good.
The Man from Earth (2007). Watched it on Netflix. 9/10. No special effects, shot in one location, but a fantastic storyline.
Just watched True Grit again...still awesome.
8.5/10

last american virgin
6/10
it gets a 6 because they show 80's s and ass. without it, it would be a 2. the storyline sucks and the acting sucks, the story line sucks and the soundtrack sucks.
Ted 6/10 wtf did I just watch? Ted was a little funny at times though...
Bourne Legacy 7.7/10 Nice popcorn flick and for the first time in history Rachel Weisz appears in a movie without ;
A) Being pregnant
B) appearing 2 days after having a baby still carrying gross afterbirth weight
C) appearing in a movie with a fat face due to just having a baby
The Bourne Legacy had a very anticlimactic, unspectacular finish.
Well, that was just a set-up for the NEXT Bourne movie.... they can even start the next one right where this one left off...and of course Rachel Weisz can have a baby in the meantime...
Django Unchained
8.5/10
Deep Water - do entary about a round the world sailboat race back in the 60's. Focused on one guy who was incompetent and went crazy.
7/10 - much better than my description
watching Office Space right now...maybe one of a handful of movies that I'll always watch if it's on. 10/10
Cosmopolis -10/10
Pile of stinking steamy . Shut it off after a painful 30-45 minutes and a couple of skipped scenes until I just couldn't believe someone financed this in garbage.
Seven Psycopaths - A little too meta for my tastes. Good, but not as good as In Bruges.

Prince of the City - 1981
I'm a fan of director Sidney Lumet & this film is highly rated on IMDB, but this movie is awful. Almost 3 hours long, it took me several stop/start sessions to get through. Worst movie I've seen in a long time.
0/10
Zero Dark Thirty 8/10
Seven Psychopaths.
Uhhhhh, I don't know what to give it. I wanted to like it. I didn't search if anyone else saw it here but the last hour could've been cut out and it would've been ok. I really wanted to like it but I was getting annoyed sitting through the last hour that I just gave up paying attention, really. It was like a let's-get-a-bunch-of-"cool",-and-"hip"-actors-and-we'll-be-good movie. I left the theater very confused. Maybe I was in a weird mood.
maybe a 3/10 for the "cool" and "hip" actors? <shrugs>
I really liked it personally, and don't feel anything needed to be cut out. Saw it with my dad and we both enjoyed it a lot. I thought it was one of the best comedies released lately, not that that is very hard
The last hour just seemed like very bad improv imho. The killings is what had me enjoy the movie. When Woody's gf got whacked(oh, spoiler there ) I thought it was going to start getting better. Oh well. 'Twas only a dollar fidy.
It didn't really stand on the strengths of it own merits story-wise.
Yeah, it just seemed like everyone got lazy as the movie went.
Bourne Legacy 5/10
I don't get the appeal of Jeremy Renner, especially as an action star.
Gangster Squad - 6.5/10
Moderately entertaining throwaway version of The Untouchables.
Silver Linings Playbook - Pretty ing good. Chris Tucker came out of nowhere, and the movie was a pretty damn wild ride. It did remind of The Fighter a little bit with its hectic nature.
On a side note, I was thinking about including the exact same Bob Dylan song in the movie I will never, ever direct ( you, I know I am not the only one who does this kind of ).

Argo 8/10
Pretty good interpretation of the actual events. A good watch.
Other than the Ben Affleck not being Latino lol
when I watched that Avengers movie, he was the only interesting character IMO, and Johansson I guess
Les Miserables 9/10
And I dont even like musicals.
When I first started watching it I was like the is this but surprisingly it got better and better and by the end it was near perfect.
