The administration (including before Patterson) has really been selling out on a lot of things including the fan experience for money... it's a real shame.
If you frequent Orangebloods, then you probably know, for example, that people are pissed that there is no Dr. Pepper at football games and they took away the old school style sloppy nachos. Now coke is the exclusive drink and some nacho brand that is no good is the exclusive nacho.

“My coach told me I had the Texas offer, and we were both really excited,” Wilbon said. “It was crazy. My interest level in Texas is really high. I like that the fans are really passionate about the program, and I’ve heard it’s a great place to play.”
“We didn’t go too much into detail, but they said they really liked me and the way I play,” Wilbon said. “They said they wanted me to start off on defense. I like that they are very defensive-minded coaches. They seemed like really cool coaches.”
