Bringing in a player who just signed the same day does not sound like a good pitching method. Like, what the is Tyson going to say? He had no inside knowledge on how the Suns operate before today.

I don't see what the big deal is between PF and C anyway. Nowadays theres so many cross matches anyway. Tim's been playing C for the past couple of years
Phoenix has about $6 million to $8 million left after signing Chandler, using the same cap hold idea with Knight that the Spurs are using with Green and Leonard. The only way they can sign Aldridge is after a salary dump of Bledsoe, as the Blazers aren't likely to want Bledsoe in a sign and trade with Lillard already there. Maybe they could work a three team deal, but as of now Phoenix can't offer him anything close to a max deal before salary dumping Bledsoe.
