Nah, I think one thread is enough. Because with different threads separating the Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo people would not have opened me up to the different consoles and genres and games I otherwise would've never heard about if not for this thread.

I don't know - honestly I get tired of us sticking all the crap in one thread - we need various topics and such to get things sorted out ... it's a pain to miss a few days and then have to come back and figure things out.
I kind of like the chaos. Feels like a multiplayer deathmatch with no teams.

Halo 3 is too good. The MP is so freakin' fun.
Only thing fun about Halo3 MP is the custom games ... having fun with eball atm.
Hey guys, gor those of you who have 2k8 what settings do you guys play that freakin game on? I have it on All-Star and it seems like I can;t stop anybody on freakin offense. Then when I have the ball it seems I can;t do crap?! Am I just a bum, or does it take some getting used to?

Do a google search for 2k8 sliders. Once realistic sliders are created, it should enhance your experience greatly.
Downloading TF2 while I'm at work ... I'll be playing some tonight, but I also want to work on a eball map for Halo3.

Yah, if I see anything about it, I'll post. Once I play some, I'll let people know if it's worth buying. Honestly, it's only $30 for the game, so it probably could be worth it to a lot of people ... I play CS:S (and now TF2) while my fiancee is watching wedding crap on the 42".

Use lockdown D. Even when guarding someone down low, it'll even contest the shot for you. On offense, run plays. If you want more plays than you're given (and don't want to assign them every game), go to coach mode and set plays to auto and run them. You'll find a lot more open shots and get better momentum. Most important thing to do on All Star is to play lock-down D (L trigger) every single time on defense, or else the game will get out of hand. Try not to double team and don't sag off too much.
The only sliders I messed with were the foul sliders, which I increased a couple spaces to the right, especially the charge slider, which I increased to about 80. I also decreased the CPU's "dunks in traffic" slider to about 10-15. I'm tempted to lower the open shot sliders, but then I'd get lazy on defense.

Thanks for the tips man!!I needed to know something because the computer does anything and everything it wants on offense almost. I mean back door cuts, screens, 3's, mid range shots, EVERYTHING. Then on offense it just seems like my team just stands around getting in my freakin way. Don't get me wrong, I realize this is the 360 and I actually have to play like I'm really playing, but C'mon. lol I'm going to take you advice on the sliders and see how that pans out.
