LOLies.
Face it, Chris, we're already socialists.
We have social insurance, medicaid/medicare and a panoply of federally bureaucratized social services. For the past 70 years.
Ten years ago, when the financial sector nearly broke the system of payment, we socialized the cost of fraud and irresponsibilty and bad bets instead of allowing firms that made bad decisions to fall on their faces, as should have happened in a free enterprise system.
It's kind of hilarious that you think we're not socialists already.
.
I drive on roads that are not personally mine.
I feel so parasitic.
But I guess it's all good with so long as we have socialism for Wall St. and billionaires, but god forbid the social product should be spent on anyone who actually needs it.
a great 10 minutes tbh...
Exactly.
Who pays for the talking heads on TV and writes legislation for the US Congress?
It ain't the 40% percent of Americans who live paycheck to paycheck in the richest country ever.
in b4 them, 40% of Americans.
it's their fault wages have stagnated for 50 years. it's their fault healthcare and college are unaffordable, never mind that all the other rich capitalistic countries have already figured it out.
it's because they suck. there is no other explanation.

Rural areas swim in socialism that they say they hate.
Telephone coops with extremely low phone line rates and subsidized by Universal service, electric coops, ag subsidies / price supports, nearly free grazing on Federal lands
and of course the MIC, corrupt corporate welfare, $700B+ / year.

our speech was well received, in such cases incredibly well received, and i want to thank the people that said such nice things about the job we did... all this guy cares about is patting himself on the back and having other people massage his ego
When he talks, it sounds like a 6th grader writing a paper and trying to make sure it has enough words. But with a 4th grade vocabulary.
"it was very important for me to get up and say some powerful words, also some other words, and some words of compromise"

Still blows my mind that they wanted to make a statement about bullying, and the example they chose to go with, among all of the possible subjects of bullying in schools, is some kid who gets made fun of because his last name is Trump.![]()

However, CBS found widespread approval for Trump’s State of the Union. Among independents, 82 percent approved. Democrats only gave 30 percent approval while Republicans (as might be expected) gave the speech 97 percent approval.
