In pre-registered fire, a battery in a defensive position fires a few s s ahead of time so they can zero in their guns on a specific piece of terrain.

And the attacks on the nation’s health care infrastructure kept coming, at a rate of at least two a day, by some counts — hospitals, clinics, maternity wards, a nursing home, an addiction treatment facility, a blood bank.
As of May 9, the Ukrainian Healthcare Center, a consultancy in Kyiv, had do ented 165 cases of health care facilities damaged in the war, and the World Health Organization has identified some 200 such attacks.

Russian Coup Against Putin Already Under Way, Ukraine General Says
Ukrainian military official has said that a coup to overthrow Russian President Vladimir Putin is underway and cannot be stopped.
Major General Kyrylo Budanov told British broadcaster Sky News that if Russia lost the war in Ukraine, Putin would be removed and his country would collapse.
"It will eventually lead to the change of leadership of the Russian Federation," Budanov told the outlet, "this process has already been launched."
Budanov did not offer any evidence for a coup.
