So proud of the Slovenian National Team.

I hope it does not offend anyone, but some days I can not help but ponder a combined team with the best players from Slovenia, Serbia, and Croatia.
Me too. And it's really a wonder that this was one country once, and now out of that there are 4 or 5 teams that could come to Eurobasket, 3 of which could contend for a medal. Must be something in the water.

I don't know. Who would you take from this year's Croatian squad for instance? Vujčič looked like he's past his prime. Planinič is garbage. Roko Leni looked fine, but we're stacked in guard positions (Lakovic, Dragic, Beno).

Serbia has a couple of interesting players that may be better than our bench players, but I still think our main guys, our starting 5 is the best and I wouldn't replace anyone. Yeah, I know I'm a homer, can't help it.

Former Soviet Union had three teams in this year's eurobasket too.

He, he - dead of Yugoslavia has (for me) only one negative side - basketball

And my only regret regarding Yugoslavia is, that it is fallen apart before olymics in Barcelona 1992. Original Dream team, against the best national team ever*, that would be basketball battle od century

*current Spain team is very close to what Yugoslavia had 20 years ago

Yeah well, former Soviet union is like half the planet, Yugoslavia was smaller than Italy. And there were four teams, you forget Macedonia. And also sometimes Bosnia gets there.

    We'll take step backwards, IMO.
