According to his article, DT Du'Vonta Lampkin is scared he'll fail his foreign language class and have to go JUCO.
So, instead, he'd like go somewhere else where he's already eligible.

#1 JUCO prospect in the nation, WR Taj Williams, has committed to TCU.
UT offered a while back and he's a former high school teammate of WR John Burt.

what a chicken baffoon. Don't fail you moron.
Well it's a good thing they're stout at DT.
Oh.....
My interpretation of this tweet is the kid simply doesn't want to attend UT.
FWIW, Scout says he's known he needed this Spanish class to gain admission, but he decided not to take it.
Per 24/7, UT has offered five-star DE Shavar Manuel of Bradenton, FL:

I think it's a loophole he's taking advantage of to get out of going to UT. Remember the rumor that he was going to de-commit near Signing Day?
I just wonder about a few things:
-why did the UT staffers not know he wasn't taking this class?
-will Texas have any authority when it comes to his LOI?
We have to assume someone out there told him he didn't need this class to get into other schools, right?
I imagine they took him at his word that he would complete the requirement after he committed and really didn't have a choice in the matter because of a lack of depth at the position. This is just a situation where a young man saw an opportunity to go in without lube and forcefully penetrated the situation. That he's going to be a Sooner is perfect and I wish him the worst.
If he really didn't come here because one class he could have taken but didn't, then that says a lot... not sure we want him after that anyway.
You don't want kids who want out.
We need the right type of personalities as well as talent. If Strong and staff have to spend extraordinary amounts of time and energy with 2nd chances, rules, etc... we don't need that now. Let's gets some good kids and teach them to play good football. The higher the concentration of good kids, the easier it is to coach them.
A few Malik Jeffersons with good solid players with the right at ude is preferred in the rebuild I would think.

The good news is he has low character which means he will be nothing for the sooners
football is more than just talent it takes character to work hard, he isn't a guy who wants to work hard, so he won't do anything but take up a scholarship for them.
LOL,
Aggsy will get 31 million and brag how they are doing so much better than Texas but Bama and Florida are dwarfing them, so they are still looking up at the balls of 2 new daddys.
Aggsy, always a , never the pimp.
not an aggy fan but the aggy momentum at the moment is legit............
Several sites reporting TE Jack Stoll of Aurora, CO will make his commitment on June 19th.
Texas has a legit QB, 2 awesome receivers committed and we are in on a ton of other great players.
I am not worried one bit about recruiting, all I care about right now is the up coming season.
That is a bigger thing than what some kid thinks in June
2017 OL Wes Harris of Aledo has committed to TCU:

An FYI on all of those guys listed above...
I don't know for sure, but I think they're all in town for Team USA football.
Two updates...
-in case you aren't keeping track, the spring evaluation period ended yesterday. The coaches are no longer on the road.
-the first UT summer camp will be held this Sunday, June 7th. I'll post names as they are published by the sites.
