In real life there aren't clear cut good guys and bad guys. Just relatively simpleminded or nuanced observers.
As you know its now common knowledge Shillary paid for the dossier and Steele was a known Trump hater. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to conclude most likely most of the dowsier is based on bull and evidence less emo gossip.

One thing to keep in mind is that Mueller knows whatever the Five Eyes know about the CI investigation, presumably including emails between DJT, other members of his family and Michael Cohen.
If there was anything illegal, we're apt to find out eventually. Then we'll have some basis other than personal bias for accepting or dismissing what's been reported.
