Lol you don't even understand how you're racist
How is Trump a racist?
How am I a racist?
Help me understand Blake.
He's not a racist. He just says what he thinks his base wants to hear. But I don't think you can deny his base thirsting for a wall is fueled in part by a bigoted sentiment. Now why do I think this? Illegal immigration has significantly declined over the past 20 years. Immigrants actually commit fewer crimes than native born Americans. The majority of drugs are smuggled through via ports of entry. Immigrants aren't flooding into this country, nor is there a "crisis" at the border, yet his base believes the current illegal immigration situation is going to hasten the country's downfall. None of their beliefs are supported by data. So what else could be fueling their beliefs?
Yet here I am reading about a mentally ill person yet again committing a mass shooting (mother killed her 3 kids and herself). And no, I'm not going to talk about the gun control aspect here, but the mental health aspect. This person was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia and the extent of her treatment was a week in the hospital. In the old days, she would've been committed. Mental health care is grossly underfunded in this country, and yet here we are wanting to spend billions on stupid in' walls.

Good friend of mine had to move out of town recently because she got raped by guess who? 3 illegal immigrants. Guess what happened to them? Nothing, and they went back to Mexico. There is no bigoted sentiment here...people who live near the border (like me) want justice but we also want basic protection which a wall provides. A lot of these shooters have been linked to BigPharma with the drugs they imbibe, and usually come from a single parent household, so the problem is solved within the community (home, school, church) before asking for help from BigFederalGovernment. Trump is simply fulfilling his campaign promises, while the opposition throws around words like racist without backing any of it up. Our ports of entry would only be strengthened if we could funnel everything through them with a wall. I understand you probably could care less about the fentanyl and the heroin flooding across the borders along with the human trafficking network and the cartels, but at least come with something better than ports of entry and the decline of illegal immigration. Pavlov spams that constantly and it's a tired argument.
Anecdotes are data now? The decline in illegal immigration is fact. The negative correlation between illegal immigration and crime is a fact. You just can't handwave it away to suit your argument. "Couldn't care less about the cartels, drug smuggling."I'm in Southern California. Illegal immigrant central. The crime rate has only massively improved since the 80's.
If this issue is important to you personally, fair enough. We all have issues that are subjectively more important than others, but not everyone believes illegal immigration is an issue worthy of this much attention, money, and political hand-wringing. Talk about drug dealers. I'd rather Trump put billions toward going after Big Pharma than worry about preventing Pablo coming here to pick peaches.
Oh, and aren't Republicans the party of "personal responsibility?" No heroin and fentanyl markets (and thus no cartels) if people would "just say no."
"Ain't that easy. Addiction is a disease."
Okay. Let's fund more and better prevention and treatment programs.
"More taxes?!!!! that!"
Facts don't care about your feelings (nor your made up stories about imaginary friends.)
While Chris might have legitimate and valid concerns about illegal immigration, with him being personally affected, there's little doubt in my mind that Trump's base in general is in part fueled by bigotry. When Trump was on his campaign trail, did he rationally and dispassionately articulate his platform on border security? No. "We're gonna build a big, glorious wall and Mexico is gonna pay for it!" And:
One big dog whistle. And Trump's claim of illegals bringing "more crime" into the US is provably false. I mean, Obama deported more illegals than any prior US president, but he didn't make a melodramatic sideshow out of it that would invariably stoke bigotry among specific demographics.Thank you. It’s true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
pretends to be so TUFF
President Donald Trump is a 3-2 favorite to win the 2020 presidential election, with his odds unchanged following Sen. Bernie Sanders' official bid announcement, says sportsbook brand manager Dave Mason of BetOnline.ag.
are you a betting man, ducks?
He doesn't, and he wasn't. He comes from the Jacob Wohl school of Making Up in Service to Trump.
TSA is this you?

I'm not seeing any dog whistles there, but you are en led to your opinion. Mexico will in fact help pay for the wall through the renegotiation of NAFTA. Posters like Spurminator don't really care about the plight of those affected by the crisis at the border including my friend, but that doesn't make it any less real. Real problems, real solutions. Only iden y politics and posters like Spurminator, seething with vitriol, stand in the way of progress. I fail to see what Obama has to do with anything, but he had some interesting things to say about illegal aliens when he was a Senator.
Walk me through how that works, Chris. What part of NAFTA2 pays for the wall?
The USMCA will provide additional revenue indirectly through trade deficits with Mexico. If Trump can drop the deficit by 25-30 billion with trade deals then you will have sufficient funding. Companies will also introduce additional manufacturing/farming in the United States thus creating more jobs and additional funds for the treasury. Congress theoretically could write a bill allocating those funds from new jobs into funds for the wall. Additionally the money saved from the new USMCA as opposed to the ty NAFTA deal can't be ignored.
these Biblical assholes are always wrong, always duped, willfully, in alternate reality fantasy world
