Three years ago, Vucetich was the first option to take over el Tri but declined for personal reasons. He has tons of experience and has won les but is coming off a bad tournament which resulted in being fired. He has the reputation of being serious and professional. Yet, el Tri is a humongous hot potato right now.

If he's going to call the players who are currently at their best for the two upcoming games, then I'm guessing that the core of Mexican players will come from the current top teams of the league, America, Morelia, and Leon. As far as Europeans, Vela, Ochoa and Gio are at their best right now so that's a no brainer.
After we started getting away from our youth we started to suck, tbh..
Having every euro was also a good thing apparently.. I hope he tries to go back to that, nothing against a few good Mexican league players.. but that was working.
