Just a reminder that the spring evaluation period starts tomorrow and will run through May 31st.
Texas coaches will be on the road during that timeframe visiting high schools and JUCOs all over the country, but may not start traveling for another week.
I expect them to use this upcoming week to wrap up spring ball, have position meetings, update players on their depth chart status, etc.
Not UT related, but QB Malik Hornsby used his first official visit on UNC to see Mack and Brewster.
I don't see him staying in-state at this point.

24/7 reporting Texas did a good job this weekend of countering LSU's recent surge with S Xavion Alford of Pearland Shadow Creek.
His top schools currently are A&M, LSU and Texas with the last two standing out.

S Bryson Washington of Houston C.E. King visited OU over the weekend and asked someone to make him a commitment video yesterday.
With Washington thought to be a strong Texas lean, that obviously had a lot of people wondering if OU was able to make a huge impression on him.
24/7 spoke with some OU sources who aren't confident, and Washington confirmed he will still be committing on July 4th with an official visit to Texas in late June.

Inside Texas saying White spent time at the house of QB Hudson Card with the other UT commitments before the spring game.
It sounds like UT will get an opportunity to win over White's mother, whose family is originally from Louisiana.
On DE Princely Umanmielen of Manor...Inside Texas feels a lot better about this recruitment and aren't as concerned about A&M and OU.

Inside Texas reporting DT Vernon Broughton of Cypress Ridge and his family didn't leave Herman's office until 10:30 on Saturday night after the spring game.
Texas should be considered the clear favorite after a strong visit and Broughton will be an early enrollee at the school of his choice.
