I didn't think that page was even close but I just noticed how many it had and it made me curious as some forums start auto splitting threads after a assigned number which I hate.
I am not so sure...I don't know what either has but I would love to see it.

But alas the sign of a good forum is one that begins to draw people that have nothing to do with the forums original purpose.
and sometimes I feel like I bully topics with people at times but I am always trying to get people to explain their opinions in more depth since I truly enjoy reading everyone's thoughts on things. Especially since (as I have said before) the mma posters on this simple forum are far better than sherdog and blogs many times over. I wish we could get another 5 people.

We should in time. Is it my imagination or have the Fight threads and what not been getting bigger of late?? I think more people are starting to talk a little MMA around this section.
You're right...we're definitely getting more people..I think when I started posting here we would hit 2 to 4 pages per fight and now....8 or so on average... just guessing.
Thats a pretty big jump for a simple fight thread considering there are so many.
BTW i 100% agree with you on that.
Anytime i try to jump into a debate on Sherdog, it turns into a fight with different factions just yelling at eachother. That happens with those huge forums, too many people on one side of the fence or the other. it goes on here in the Spurs section.
When i come here, i can talk some MMA, with a small group of great intelligent fans and just bang around some thoughts. That is very hard to do in a place like Sherdog.
i remember when the spurstalk mma forum was so small and it basically consisted of leonard and Mr.Dio fighting over if Pride or the UFC was better and me and like one other person would read and laugh.like seriously it was like 4 or 5 people max.

That fight makes so much sense. There is not much you can do with Silva where he is right now as he has cleaned out his division for the most part.
Chuck has a lot of miliage left but he really isn't in the le hunt right now since your top two LHW fighters need a re-match within a few fights
So why not have a super fight that has no impact on either division. Silva becomes a super star to the mases and neither fighter loses much in a loss. Its perfect.

Funny coincidence, though - I got on one morning specifically to put Dio on ignore and had a pm from Leonard waiting for me, asking to put Dio on ignore. Guess it worked - he left.
