Is anyone shocked by D'Antoni's reaction?
Non-call on the eye was bad, but you can't say that was an isolated incident that went against the Spurs. He was not shoved out of bounds... he flopped out of bounds. I guess Horry didn't pull down Amare either...
Ridiculous that you think the officials are going against the Spurs. It was not a well-officiated game, but the Suns got screwed on some BLATANT calls (i.e. when Manu was not fouled, just missed a layup, and then es to get the call from an official 30 ft away from the play).
I'm saying that once Nash realized how Bowen was going to play him, he went off. But Bowen is not allowed to slap like that and we all know it. Amare picks up 5 fouls and you're saying the Spurs were getting screwed by the refs? Gimme a break. I was trying to make it a simple and valid point - Nash was getting fouled and had 0 points. He finally turned it up and got in the game. That's it - the Suns missed far too many FTs this game themselves and rushed too many quick jumpers to have a chance at winning this game.
Did you guys hear Tim's post game interview with Mic e? He made a veiled mention of the "dirty" comments and said they came out with a chip on their shoulder and wanted to play hard.

The imploding D'Antonio will cost his team. They come out announcing to the world that there going to try and play physical and get calls or even play dirty will only cause them to get called for fouls or get kicked out of the game. Stupid. He could learn from CIA Pop and keep that behind closed doors.

Yes - he's probably extremely fed up at this point. Even last year when the Suns got screwed in the Lakers series, Nash took all the blame and D'Antoni did not point any fingers.
We all know what the Mavs can get away with out there (Harris/Dirk flops/Diop over the back) and you never heard a negative comment from the team or D'Antoni. This was a hard fought, emotional game, but for him to come out and say something like that (very rare), it means he got pretty riled up.
