You're splitting hairs on a hypothetical that requires time travel.

Tautology much?
Morris isn't an improvement. Losing is losing. Moral victories because "muh 2nd round" are for teams like the Clippers and Guests.
I said he's not a difference maker. If you want to be pedantic and call a micro-mole a difference then go for it.
Why would the Knicks, a sh** team create the bad will on a one year rental?
it. Let's just win another championship.
Expiring contracts for a trade.
Fair point. It's just business.
NBA shouldve fixed this after Deandra Jordan though.
no. i said second round is better than first round. you said "not when it comes to paying a mental midget like morris." that's our disagreement. i'd rather make the 2nd round with morris than make the first round without him. making the second round instead as an improvement, whether its to your satisfaction or not. it's objective.
sure he is. on our team, he'd be a starter and a solid one at that. the roster is better with morris on it instead of lyles. that's a big difference.I said he's not a difference maker. If you want to be pedantic and call a micro-mole a difference then go for it.
I said he's not going to change the outcome. Instead of looking ahead to game he would actually be playing, you took the waaaay back time machine and put him in the lineup for last season.
We won't win a ring this year. He won't change that. Whether he's here or not here, he's not a difference maker. He might make the difference you're referring to, but not the difference I'm referring to.
Jesus Philo.
yes if we adopt your definition of difference then no moves are worth making unless they mean we're winning the championship.
in which case yes you are right. good job.

looks like morris fired rich Paul hahaha
Interesting maybe Rich was doing us a favor and Morris is the one to blame. Or everyone is realizing Klutch is pretty much just for Lebron and his friends.
Rich Paul doesn't do favors, especially for franchises like San Antonio.
Yea if anything morris is pissed he was made to look like an ahole
Maybe it was Klutch telling him to take the Spurs offer and he wanted to wait. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fizdale was texting him directly after money was freed up by the Bullock situation and Klutch told him to stick with his word.
As I said in the other thread, I think it's because Morris was mislead into thinking he'd get more than he was offered. Paul may have kept putting him off or made him wait for offers that never materialized. This isn't the first time Paul has done this to players.
That’s not how Klutch operates. Morris is probably horrified at how Klutch’s manipulations made him the bad guy.
Noel situation is by far the dumbest I've ever seen. Went from refusing to accept a few million short of a max to only getting min contracts.
There were reports that Morris thought he was going to get $$$ this summer and he kind of did...but really didn't. Yeah he was definitely put on the backburner by Paul during the free agency and it backfired on Morris.
It’s funny, because one of the reasons, other than the extra dollars to get Morris to NY was to have a Klutch client in their locker room, probably to recruit. Now, they don’t.![]()
Too bad that sum didn't fire Paul a few weeks ago.
Makes sense that Paul pushed Morris to commit to SA, Knicks then made offer, Paul pushed Morris to not take, he did, and then Spurs offer Lyles.
Looks like everyone has who the bad guys are here wrong. Morris wanted the cash. Paul got him the spurs saying it was the best available, knocks me with 15, Morris wants that, Paul says stay with the spurs. Morris makes him cut ties.
