I am a bit surprised none of the police looked under the tarp or got close enough to see that the tarp had been tampered with. We all saw the police presence. It was overwhelming and the boat was in clear view from the street.

This scenario is the sort of thing that concerned me even after one of them was dead. The lockdown seemed sensible to me to try to avoid the remaining guy
getting into a heavily populated place and blowing himself and everyone around him up at the end.

Additionally, the older brother seems to be the leader here and the one who got the younger one to go along with him. But he DID go along, so who's to know what he would have done had he not been injured?

tbh I'm not even sure Boston PD did anything wrong. I'd just like to be allowed to ask questions. How does a 19 year old slip through their fingers, when they should have been at max alert?

I know ppl that tried to run away from cops on a peaceful Tuesday night, they were not even allowed to get even 1000 feet before 10 police cars surrounded them. I just don't understand how the bombers got away after a firefight and had extra 20 hours to shut down a whole city. Again, not saying they did anything wrong, just would like to be able to question their actions.

I didnt have the scanner on at the time, but several posters that were in this thread following it live heard it including Kori. I also think there was some Mulugeta guy mentioned. Even if thats false though, naked guy and the other guy on the ground were shown on national TV and those can definitely be considered pretty major ups tbh. Atleast they didnt shoot at innocents though like LAPD did.

I don't think naked guy or the other guy is a BPD up at all. That's on the media for reporting without knowing all the facts. They're searching for these bombers in the dark, at that point it only makes sense to be su ious of every male wearing a hoodie they run across.

Mexican police are surprisingly expensive. I had one throw a joint at my feet and frame me for possession and quote me $150US as the fine, which I could either pay right there or to go the judge.
