Duncan played well. Amare played okay. Nash played well.

    Parker played great.

I couldn't believe that after the 3rd or 4th jumper he made, they continued to run under the pick instead of playing over. Antoni is not very good at in game adjustments.

Tough loss for the Suns. Great win for the Spurs.

Game 2 on Tuesday will another doozy.

Too bad game 3 is next Sunday. I could watch these guys play every day.

    *EDIT*

6 minutes from Jones and 12 from Kurt.

It's high time the Jones experiment ends. Kurt played Duncan very tough (as did Amare) and his defense is sorely needed.

Almost every one of Tim's shots were contested and against pretty good defense.

That hook he hit towards the end was tremendous.

I'm a physician who does many nasal surgeries. The nose has small arteries that are much larger and more superficial than other areas of the face. I think the one that Nash had severed in the collision was just not going to stop without several minutes of him lying down with direct pressure on the area followed by cauterizing or tying it off and s ching up the laceration. The "styptic" they were using is just inadequate for such an injury, and the small band-aids were a joke.
It was a travesty that he was allowed to play for so long with that amount of bleeding. The safety of the other players is also a consideration. Nobody suspected that Magic Johnson was HIV+

Ah. Thank you. I hadn't seen that they were using styptic. There probably wasn't any way to even contain the blood without severely affecting his vision.

That's what losers do. Funny that his team got beat by the Warriors and he blames the Spurs somehow. I love it.

That's what all the drunk Mavs fans did at the bars that night they were eliminated. They'd yell at Spurs fans and called us pussies cuz we were going for GS.

He might not even get the chance to get some quality playing time if Finley keeps his streak up.

Nash dissing some of his teammates (without naming them). He says somoe of them didn't have the fire/effort to beat a championship team.

The Spurs winning the game anyway counts as a cure, right?

Manu will get his act together. I'm not worried.

Guys could Tim Duncan possibly be any greater than he is?
    Well......

It's kinda frustrating when he goes through those stretches where he shows the ball and turns it over in bunches.

Then there's also the stretches where he misses FT after FT.

Other than that, no. He looks good once again on D also. Hopefully we continue to get vintage Timmy the rest of the way. The Spurs will be ok if this trend continues.

Do you pay attention to anything besides points? Ginobili shot the ball very poorly but he did a lot of other things well. He rebounded great, he didn't have any turnovers in 28 minutes, and he was very effective feeding Timmy in the post so that he could make his move immediately and score. He had a good "team" game, even if his individual day doesn't look that great.

Once again picking up those 2 quick fouls in the first took him out of his offensive rhythm. That 2nd one was such a bs call. He got sandwiched between two suns on a screen and nash just flopped.

Suns will regroup and win 4 in a row... just like the Spurs did against the Nuggets.
    LAFF!!!!!

    And you think this because?

The Suns have a defense that slows other offenses down or something?

Once again all the Suns fans are ing about Nash being out at the end while forgetting that the Suns coudn't get a stop at the end of the game. Methinks that had nothing to do with Nash being out. If anything, him being out helped them on the defensive end.

And they still didn't get it done. So again:
