Nathan said it was bad. Take it up with him.
Peaceful protest bad now.
Nathan said it was bad. Take it up with him.
the primary reporting on these figures was done by Newsweek.
Pushing det narrative.

Are the numbers off or something?
Sounds like Americans already.
Doesn't that support the assertion that media didn't pay any attention to it?
link?
Obama is neoliberal, captured by, at least, BigFinance, just like the Dem establishment, really nasty with whistleblowers, but not a r/w n/j
Not as far as I know.
Nathan89's RT debunking the librul narrative relies on Newsweek.
Pretty much all the original reporting, even for edgy alt-lite counter-narratives, comes from the despised MSM.
That it was published in Newsweek contemporaneously with the tear-gassing suggests not.
That's a confusing statement.
A. The MSM didn't pay much attention to it
B. The MSM did pay much attention to it
Pick one
Why didn't Repugs make a big stink, and they know how, about gassings in Obama years?
Maybe because they support gassing asylum seekers?
Because it's not a big deal? No one gets hurt, it's a crowd dispersion tactic. It wasn't a big deal until some folks who needed a sensational story decided to make it one. Tear gas has been deployed against citizens during riots.
Fake outrage
You're undercaffeinated.
Newsweek instantly contextualized the use of tear gas by citing the incidence under Obama.
That's the MSM paying attention.
alt-lite posters Nathan89 and Chris are riding Newsweek's coattails when they point to the use of tear gas under Obama.
There's a significant difference between retrospective attention and attention during that time. Show me MSM reports of CS gas deployment prior to this latest caravan fiasco. That's the point that was being made.
So?
Where was the outrage then?
MSM is unfair because they didn't report on Obama doing it, until Trump did it.
Newsweek put it in context instantly.
The gripe that Obama got a pass from the media on his historic ramping up of immigration enforcement is mostly true, but there wasn't a media blackout -- indeed there was enough contemporaneous reporting on it for me to notice and repost it in this forum.
At the time, liberals and conservatives alike were willing to ignore it, board Trumpalos only care about Obama's harsh immigration policies now that Trump's even harsher policies are being used -- rightly in my opinion -- to bash Trump.
I criticized Obama for his harsh immigration policies in this forum, so I feel free to do the same with Trump.
There's more continuity than change, tbh.
Almost entirely absent in this forum, on the right or the left.
and so Newsweek did.
Good for them.
Was in response to:
Trumps a meanie for using gas on illegal border crashers
Move on.
Immigration lawyers and NGOs, however, did notice, and so did the reporters who were talking to them.
so long as posters rely on MSM reporting to claim there is a media blackout on honest reporting, I will point it out.
Great, make up some numbers
