this slowest coach has 2 rings
More trouble than allowing layup after layup? But, Spurminator, if the Sonics suddenly get hot from outside (a distinct possibility) it could mean trouble, and forcing them to take jumpers just may do the trick.
this slowest coach has 2 rings
this slowest coach had Tim Duncan and David Robinson
OK, I think that the game is now in the bag, so TP and MG should get out.
Parker leads fastbreak, nobody on the Sonics can get back, layup. Rebound by Barry on other end, up ahead to Parker who is pushing again, Sonics finally stop him though. Flip and 1, makes freethrow. But Bowen hits another three!
84-68
Wow, just checked in. Am I reading right, Parker is currently leading the team in points (28) rebounds (8), assists (5), steals, (3), and TO's (4)? LOL. And aside from him and Manu, no other player is in double figures and we still have a lead? Wow, looks like I missed a good game![]()
Rasho gets no love from the refs.
The three by Bowen....Nesterovic FOULS OUT...Manu and Parker sshould be getting out any minute
Allen is being pulled - I think that Seattle has conceded.
OK, Sonics put in Robert Swift so you know this thing is over. Scrub wears Barry's old number which pisses me off. T-Mass in, guess he is still alive. Manu is still in, but Pop does have two rings so I guess it's OK.
Rasho had about 10 boards believe he beat Parker. Great job by all!!!!
Yea was just gonna say that Rummpd (9 boards) - great game by Rasho
Good win Spurs......sorry Lakergod!![]()
..so Allen just made 6 pts in the 2nd half. How's our Bruce doing?
BTW, who is this Murray? he is playing good tonight, huh?
Great game all in all - a real statement to all who were doubting Spurs or felt that they could beat Spurs without Duncan. Yes, three of Seattle's main men were out, and they would have made a difference, especially to form an interior presence. However, I think that it was still a statement, and I hope that this will provide the Spurs with the confidence and energy they need going into April
Pretty ugly game by both teams, lots of bad misses and turnovers. Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili were able to attack the basket at will though, and racked up the points. The Sonics either didn't show up or are just cruising now that they clenched a playoff spot. Mac10 needs to tear into them, no effort on either end, especially by the starters. 76 stinking points, pathetic. Good job by the Spurs to control the boards and get all those second chance opportunities. I don't think tonights game paints a clear picture of either team, odd play by both. The Spurs did execute though, and got the Win, which is all that matters. Quiet game by Barry, I think I hear the haters getting ready to lay in to him, Ducks was already warming up. But Brent did bring in energy off the bench to counter the energy produced by the Ridnour, Wilkins, Collison lineup, and helped put an end to the huge run they had.
Ray Allen looked like he wanted to cry!![]()
Ronald Murray...
I remember way back at the beginning of last year when Ronald Murray was playing extremely well. He was a no-name, but he really was on his game at that time. It lasted for about 6 weeks, then the coach decided to give him less minutes etc because he wasn't performing. I made a killing off him for my fantasy team though lol. He has not performed that well lately, but he is still a talent
I'm more of a Spurs fan than Sonics fan this season, so trying to goad me isn't going to acomplish much, sorry.
Allen sucked, Flip Murray has sucked for a while (the Sonics should have tried trading him while he still had value instead of holding on to him long enough for other teams to figure him out). The Sonics sucked as a whole, while the Spurs executed, simple as that.
Ooh, new LOST is on... finally. I'll come back and take the slings and arrows heading my way later. Hope you all were able to follow my sorry attempt at providing play by play commentary.
Cheers all,
Gerry
..thanks!
i just noticed this player tonight.
we got the win but sonics still a dangerous team. could be a better team than the Suns when Allen plays well and Rasheed on the court.
nice job, Spurs! 9 games more to go.
Who's trying to "goad" you?
Sorry, maybe it was a language barrier thing or something, just came across as sarcasm.
