These albums might actually challenge Hammer:

Greatest Album of all time is way too hard to chose. For me, Greatest album of 2006 was Mastodon's Blood Mountain.

how long have you been listening to music, 6 months?
i thought this was all time greatest albums list, not pitchforkmedia.com's best of 2006.
laughing at tv on the radio, eminem, block party, clipse as greatestofalltime. kid a is funny also, just because its such a cliched pick.
pussyface: HAHA i'm so awesome! Oh man, I got him so good! I am the KING of owning n00bs on the internet! that stupid guy, posting his favorite albums like it's his opinion or something! I'll show him! yeah! Now time to jack off before 18 straight hours of Elder Scrolls!
of the top 6 albums of all time, 2 have come out in the last 6 months.
three others of the six are post-2000.
the oldest is from the 1990's.
its one thing to have an opinion, its another to reveal real ignorance by putting forth a list that only a 15 year old could even half-heartedly support.
any one of the guys who are in block party or tv on the radio, for instance, would whole-heartedly agree with me that your list is totally laughable.
...anyway, i'll let you get back to pitchforkmedia-ing it up here.
Its all personal preference, my album that I listed was an 05 math metal album
its one thing to boldly list one album.
but if yr gonna name 6, you gotta show a little versatility, right?
his list really could have been "best music of the past year or two + a biggie album" ya know?
it leaves a little to be desired, but is funny becuase it seems to reveal that the guy just started listening to music here in the last few weeks, ya know?
Oh is that the case lil' puss-puss? You cut right to the core of me.
Or how about this: if one of my top albums was already being discussed, I didn't put it in my post. it's called bringing something new to the table.
I suppose you'll enjoy being the 100th person to put down Pet Sounds or Exile On Main Street though. What's that, you mean that Sgt. Peppers is a great album? YOU DON'T SAY!!! thank god you're the 93rd person to write that down for me!
Alright alright fine, be the 743rd person to tell me that London Calling is an all-time great....that's real versatility there...
Some favorites in my playlist right now....

how do you put hath no fury in the greatest albums of all time.... that came out like 3-4 months ago....... plus lord willin >>>> hath no fury.... and lord willin definitely isn't one of the greatest albums of all time.....
DIAMOND MOTHER ING D!
lord willin ain't even close to hath no fury. lord willin was good, but it basically amounted to a few hot singles and a cd full of okay songs and okay beats. hath no fury has these guys' entire heart and soul on that album, and the neptunes have never put together an album full of beats that strong. just my opinion tho.
i don't really give a what anybody thinks anyways. the day Reasonable Doubt dropped, it was a classic. The day Illmatic dropped, it was a classic. The day Black On Both Sides came out, it was a classic. People may not have recognized those albums as classics until years later, but the bottom line is that they were classics all along. Hath No Fury is the exact same thing.
And anyways, I was throwing some out there that I liked. Hath No Fury is a classic as far as I'm concerned, but A Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory is the greatest hip-hop album of all time, there is no in' debating that.

your en led to yours......
but lord willin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> hath no fury...
to this day i still don't consider reasonable doubt a classic..... the was aight.... people only note it a classic because it was jays first album...... illmatic is hands down one of the best albums in hip hop.... i could go back at anytime and listen to that whole album without skipping a track.... cant say the same for reasonable doubt......
I'd definitely put illmatic ahead of reasonable doubt, but to me reasonable doubt is the best jay-z's ever done. some of his other albums are , others are okay or pretty good, but reasonable doubt is the only album of his that i can listen to without wanting to skip half the songs.
Dude his bashing of your picks was legit, and if I had 18 hours of free time a day to play elder scrolls I wouldn't care if i was ugly and/or fat, just as long as i had a computer that ran it to full capacity I would be happy.
And eminem is still gay.
Sorry, I didn't realize my personal opinions had to match those of everyone else. I'll take that into account next time you obtuse .
And elder scrolls is ing gay. You might as well be jacking off to pics of Daniel Radcliffe.
