Eurocup attendance figures from the 08-09 season. Despite playing their home Eurocup games in a modern 15000 seat arena, the lowest attendance figures from more than 30 teams around Europe are held by two Greek League teams.

Average attendance for 6 home games:
    Maroussi 603
    Panellinios 442

Why are so few Greek fans attending the games of Athens-based teams involved in Eurocup compe ion?

    http://www.in-the-game.org/?page_id=1210
Because you fool Greek attendance does not count season tickets. It is the ONLY ones in Europe that does not count it including European games. That is why in OAKA there is often over 20,000 fans and it gets counted like 16,000-18,000.

How many times does basic things like this have to be explained to you? Memphis Grizzlies this year in ESPN was said had 11 straight games with less than 4,000 fans but attendance was counted as an average of 11,000 plus because NBA teams count SEASON TICKETS. They do in other leagues in Europe too but not in Greece. Olympiacos had 9,500 season tickets and is not even counted even one time. In NBA even if ZERO people show up the attendance will be listed as 9,500. You are ignorant and uneducated.

The Spurs played in an old run down decrypt gym as well. Since you insist on posting only outdated pictures of arenas that were renovated and expanded. You must live in a time warp. Do you even know what year this is?

The source for nearly all of your pictures of the larger Greek arenas is stadia.gr.

On the homepage of that website you will a link dated November, 2008 for the NEW page for the Panellionis Indoor Hall. Click on that link to bring up the pictures I have posted. I have used YOUR SOURCE.

First of all once again that is a 5 plus years old picture. The arena has been expanded and upgraded since then and there are two more expansion and upgrades yet to be done in next couple years.
According to their own website, the capacity of the Maroussi Sports Hall is 1350.

This is the picture they use on that page.

I will allow for the possibility they blew all their money on new patio chairs and couldn't update the website, but the other sites I've seen that show the data have 1700 as a high number for capacity.

Besides there is obviously something wrong with you that you get such joy from bashing the infrastructure of other countries.
You're wrong. I get joy from bashing you when you lie.

Very pathetic behavior from you and many others here that do the same.
You should stop lying. That's pathetic behavior from you.

Well, he's gone off the deep end. Just posting pictures of the larger Greek arenas over and over and ignoring the smaller ones that are viewable on the same website.

So they don't base it on talent then? Any team can just go and buy their way into the Greek League? Makes sense since the NBDL has more talent.

Yes of course the D-League where players who are cut from Greek teams are superstars. You have a delusional reality. And no you do not buy your way into the league dumb ass. This is if a team in top division defaults their place because they did not pay all the fees to the Greek League. Then a club from second level can purchase the place instead.

It used to be €250,000 euros net cash ($358,000 US dollars cash) but they raised it this year to €1 million euros net cash $1.43 million US dollars cash. So one of the Greek clubs of first division does not want to pay it so the other club in second division wants to take it and pay for it.

if you even had a brain you would know that 15 of the NBA teams can not even pay such a fee right now as 15 NBA teams have ZERO operating cash and are in huge debts. The "rich" NBA.

Where are dozens of people with hundreds of racist and extremely hateful posts towards US arenas? You lack basic logic and thinking ability.
