Bynum finally owned 6'5" Chuck Hayes and forced him to the bench, that is significant progress.

And there aren't many rebounds to be had with Klomar gobbling up damn near 20.
That's true. Not a great game but a much better game from Bynum this time.

I just noticed in the standings, even with the Rockets loss, every team in the SouthWest division is +.500.

    Pretty amazing.

You guys that think Bynum had a good game..has gotta be ting me!

Eight ing rebounds??? Are you kidding me???

This guy thinks he's superman and the balls caroming off the rim is kryptonite.

The Rocket's biggest player is , what, 6ft 9 inches?

    Eight ing rebounds???
He doesn't care about defensive rebounds. When shots go up, you will see Bynum already sprinting down the other way for easy buckets.

Some players are offensive minded, some are defensive minded. Dwight Howard, Joakim Noah and Ben Wallace are defensive minded bigs. They're the type that take pride in playing defense, blocking shots and cleaning up misses. Bynum is offensive minded. He enjoys scoring more than anything else. In fact, his defensive game relies heavily on how many touches he gets in the game. Shaq sums it up perfectly with his words "if you don't feed the dog, he won't guard the house."

Actually, NOH has been a complete disappointment. They looked a lot better on paper when the season started. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been difficult to see all team over .600 there....

I think Bynum rebounding is all about effort. I always see him getting beat to rebounds by smaller players. But when he plays against Shaq/Duncan/Legit big man, he really works on boxing out and making sure he does well out there....
First game he ends up with 3 boards and the Lakers lose, Phil is gonna gt on his lazy ass...
It's a shame too because he has the size to really be beasting the boards out there.

Come on, Allan, that's the same excuse the kid made when Gasol was gobbling up all those rebounds a couple of weeks ago.

Both teams shot well below their average...there were way more than 20 rebounds to be grabbed.

I can't even begin to count the times I've seen him turn around and start trotting down to the other side of the court when the ball is still in the air.

And with his size and skills, there is no way ANYONE short of a Dwight Howard should ever get the better of him.

I just hope Kupchek finds a GM stupid enough to take this lazy assed bum off our hands.

I want more effort true but * rebounds is not bad ...everyone had to help cuz Houston is so active an dBynum showed a lot on pnr I agree he should get at least 10 to 12 in a game like this ...but pnr was more critical

If Odom had tonights swagger in 75% of LA's games, I would be ridiculously happy but we all know it aint gonna happen hahaha oh well atleast hes a nice insurance policy when pau or andrew get hurt. Freakin 6 foot 10 player with point guard skills, he needs to stay confident.

ing about Bynum's rebounding statistic tonight, after a W, where the Lakers out rebounded Houston by 14 has to be one of the dumbest things ever.

Lamar was grabbing defensive boards ---> then pushing the ball up the floor because he's a point forward and the Lakers want him grabbing those D boards.

Bynum was not getting beat on the boards at all tonight. Any defensive board he could have gotten went into Lamar Odom's hands. What's the problem here? Basketball is a team ing game.

You never know with this Laker squad. If Drew gets man handled it could be a close one. If not and Drew plays with passion and Lamar has one of those great games we all know he can have, should be a easy win.

Kobe played great defense. Just missed shots he normally hits and wasn't getting much love from the officials.
