Yeah they are a bit better than the Spurs, but not overall against all the other teams in the West. If the don't play the Spurs in the playoffs they might be in trouble, whereas if the Spurs play anyone other than Dallas in the playoffs we'd have a better chance. Get it?

Carlisle just went with a 7 man rotation with Dirk and Kidd playing the whole second half. This is what it takes for us to win games. Dirk and Kidd are going to be exhausted at the end of the year.

No, not really. At first, you say the Mavs are "most CERTAINLY not better" and now you are saying they are. If you now admit they are better, your initial comment that they most certainly are not makes no sense.

A face ing. You guys put too much into regular season games and wins. You're better than the Spurs right now. I will admit that, but I still don't think you are that much better because you usually get ed up in the playoffs by most other teams. You've only beaten 1 team that you give match up problems to. How do you feel against all the other Western Conference playoff teams? I still think we can beat you at full strength with everyone playing at their best in the playoffs.
How about being a little more humble after beating a Boston team that is banged up. Instead I read that some of your fans now think you are elite after this win.

how about you use some actual logic here, and back up your claims that the spurs are better against the rest of the west than the mavericks are? because as it currently stands, the mavs have played better against the rest of the west so far. you keep talking about the playoffs, but the playoffs havent even been played yet, so your proof doesnt even exist yet, so we have to go off what we currently see. and currently, the mavs statistically have proven to have more success against the west, and in the NBA period.
I'm basing it on the last few years of playoffs. Not some regular season games. Teams usually draw experience from past playoff runs, which Dallas doesn't have much to draw on.
You might turn it all around this season, but for you guys to say this is different to past years I don't get that at all. You were better in previous regular seasons and did nothing in the playoffs. Why should I believe different this season? because you said it huh? Why is it different this season?
mavs and spurs are both VERY different teams from even 2 years ago. even just from last year. you can't really base it off anything except THIS season.

Both the Spurs and the Mavs really aren't legit championship contenders right now. Its just the Mavs are a better team.
Well I will agree with that. We both have a lot to prove. Both teams can get better or worse. We'll have to see how we each play later on.

they're not going to do this every night. Dallas really wanted this one. Everybody also got a lot of rest bc the game against Toronto got so out of hand early. Look at the minutes distribution against the Lakers last week. That's what they'll do for the playoffs.
