damn right.. the refs for trying to give this game to the Nuggets.
Garbage performance by both teams.
Mavs/Celtics should be an epic Finals.
damn right.. the refs for trying to give this game to the Nuggets.
Somebody doesn't notice my sarcasm.
Stern will make sure it is Cavs/Lakers.
Celtics?![]()
I don't know what you guys are talking about here..how did Denver up at the end?..it wasn't any different from any other part of the game..Anthony fouled out on a horrible call, Billups' struggled all game, they couldn't make a 3 at the end..I wouldn't say they choked at all..
Usually the Nuggets do have some mental issues, but they just lost tonight..I'll have to see it in a series to believe it too, but they have a very legit chance to beat the Lakers in a series until Stern makes a call when it matters..
As long as Lawson plays a good amount of minutes instead of Carter, Afflalo doesn't get screwed on calls too much and Anthony stays aggressive, they can beat them in a series IMO..
Ron Motha in Artest...6 steals & Melo had 8 turnovers...I love Ariza but his skinny ass never could do half the a healthy Ron Ron can do on D. Kobe couldnt hit anything but I aint gonna hate on 12 assists. Half assed first half & good second half. Odom & Artest = Team X-factors..Anything they get from Bynum is just a plus.
They're "bored"... they'll turn it up come playoffs![]()
for anyone blaming the refs might you want to look at the stats. 33 to 21 freethrows favoring denver. the refs gave them the game but they didnt hit their freethrows.
HAHAH HarlemHeat/ChirsRichards/MiamiHeat hasnt stopped crying yet.
@ People saying Stern will make sure the finals will be Cavs/Lakers. It has nothing to do with them being the 2 best teams in basketball or having the 2 best records.
Also if you are so sure the league is fixed, why do keep punishing yourself by continuing to watch it?
Carmelo had a bad series vs. the Lakers last year against Ariza and Rapist, and he even had a bad series the year before when he was being guarded by Radmanovic for most of the series..LOL @ WBV being special..
He fits in to the Nuggets strategy to attack the Lakers' main weakness, their PG defense..
The Lakers deserved the W, they didn't W because of refs..I was just talking about the last call on Anthony, which was one of the worst calls in NBA history..other than that, I thought the officiating was fine..
Yes, but it's even worse when you're being guarded by Fisher and Farmar(although Fisher is a Laker legend)..
If scoring 30+ points in 3 out of 6 games is a bad series then I wish the Suns players had a "bad series" more often.
Son you probably didnt watch the past series' then..Melo might have had bad games but he got a ton of easy looks but missed them..A healthy Ron gives him nothing easy..He tires him out with his physical D..Ariza & Space cadet couldnt do compared to this. Half of Melo's pts today came off put backs cuz Gasol was too weak to go up & grab the boards.
for being butthurt
I don't know why people that think Stern "makes calls" even watch the league. it doesn't make you look very intelligent
spending over half a year rooting for your team even though you're certain they'll inevitably get screwed by the refs in favor of a big market/flashy player? yea nice way to spend your time there, buddy.
This. If you think the NBA is like the WWE, and you watch it, that means you watch the WWE, which means your trailer trash.
Radman did shut down Melo 2 years ago. Him and Luke Walton.
LOL at Spurs fan who talks about Stern making "calls" for big market teams. Was Stern's phone broken in 99, 03, 05 and 07?
no, haven't you heard? the Spurs were just THAT good to overcome all of Stern's BS!![]()
I've never said the NBA is rigged..LOL @ all this outrage for a joke comment..I wasn't even trying to troll, but it worked..
NBA refs obviously do make calls that favor certain teams and players though, this is pretty clear to anybody that isn't naive..I don't see how it's arguable..just because you're insecure about the sport you enjoy, it doesn't mean you have to ignore the obvious.."superstar" calls are obvious to ANYBODY that watches the NBA, and it applies to teams just as much as it applies to players..
Anthony shot like 40% vs. the Lakers last year..how the is that not a bad series? especially for a guy that has much more ability than that..
ahah look at this er backpeddling.
