Ghill with the and 1
Awkward looking by Duncan but he makes it so im happy
excellent transition play by RJ
Thank god RJ didnt pass it up to Mason on that break or he would've missed a layup most likely...![]()
Rose in the TNT commercial: What? You trying to kidnap me?
sure...relatively to mason's
Well, from what I've seen, as of late RJ does look much more committed.
Dice misses a gimme..
vintage Duncan defense
Mcfluff is pathetic.
Spurs up 51-43 at the half
Spurs with a couple of dangerous cros-court passes.. a littlw sloppy at the end.
dice still can't catch a pass from manu
Good to see Richard bouncing back with a good outing...
can't wait till rj can dot his against a good opponent.
We have to remember this is against the TimberWolves, but still its good to see RJ hustling and attacking the rim more. As someone stated earlier, RMJ looks like he has no idea how to make a bucket. He had what 2 seconds to take that baseline shot and missed horribly. I think his confidence is shot. I would not mind to see more of Hairston. I am a little ashamed of getting after Bonner. Although his shot is not really on, he does play hard D...
Good to see RJ playing well
OTOH,thank godness mason still can't hit a shot, otherwise malik will probably be back in pop's doghouse again...
Hill is rapidly becoming my favorite player.
UIPUI!
I like Hairston, but hopefully he doesn't get another chance unless this turns into a blowout. His defense was sloppy, his handle shaky, but more importantly, the Spurs need to win this game and need to do so without wearing out Duncan, Ginobili and to a lesser extent, McDyess and Hill.
Mason, even with no confidence and the inability to make a shot, still offers more ball handling and the likelihood that at some point he's going to get hot from the outside.
That lineup to start the second quarter was ridiculous. Ginobili with Hairston and Bogans. Hairston and Bogans should never be on the court at the same time, save for in a blowout. They're too similar in that neither is serious threat from the outside and they're both sub-par ball handlers. To put that much ball handling/play making responsibility on Ginobili is foolish, as it's more likely to wear him out. As soon as Pop realized that, he rushed to put Hill back in before he should have.
Hairston can take Bogans' minutes, but not Mason's. It's not that I'm favoring Mason over Hairston, it's just what the Spurs need. More ball handling and at least the threat of making an outside shot.
