Can someone please explain to me how it's not a crime for a person to cross the Mexico/US border without do entation/ID? Why is it so wrong for people to have the right do entation/ID? Are YOU really this stupid? Do you think getting the legal do entation is as easy as going and applying for a credit card at your bank? Its a long process with various requirements...there are financial requirements that most people dont meet. The ones that usually meet the requirements are the ones that dont need it, the ones that simply use their VISAs to tour the USA. For people crossing illegally its either that or stay home and struggle to put a meal on the table. If you were the head of a household which option would you take?

Umm illegal aliens do ALOT MORE JOBS than just pick crops, mow lawns, and clean houses. And they do not pay taxes. I've worked with them before when I used to roof houses. The ones I worked with wanted NO PART of becoming a US citizen. They wanted to get their cash under the table and then send it home. They take money, money which they don't pay taxes on and then take it back to their own country. They also flood our hospitals (and even prisons) and it's the U.S. taxpayer that has to pick up the bill. You really need to get educated on how much money a illegal alien actually costs this country.

Again I have no problem with someone wanting a better life....but I want the ones that ACTUALLY WANT TO BE HERE FOR THE LONG HUAL and become part of our society/process. Not the ones that I described above.

Thats a bunch of horse . There are illegal immigrants that are criminals, just like there are criminals for every race/people, but this notion that the majority of them or even a significant portion of them are criminals is ridiculous. The violence created by the Mexican cartels is drug related and a direct result of the demand for drugs by Americans, that is a whole other issue and problem.
