Tp didn't play well tonight. He scored much better but he had 7 to and that's unacceptable coming of your PG.Plus really bad plays at the end.

I can't see the point at being mad about this.I think Timvp's grade is too low but overall it wasn't a good game from Tony. That's clear.

He will bounce back.We need him to play better. That's all

PS: Please no more Manu vs TP

The problem is that when Tony's scoring, no one else is getting involved except maybe Timmy. I'm not sure how many of his assists were to TD making the top of the key shot but if our offense revolves around those two having to hit mid-range shots, we're ed.

    Tbh, Parker sucked.

Good ol' fashion TP vs. Manu thread. Hadn't had one of these in a while.

    Nice work

Manu has racked up countless turnovers in the clutch by over-dribbling and trying to be a hero. Just because he's sitting on the bench healing his brittle bones right now doesn't mean he's flawless.
lol Has Manu ever heard of MILK? WTF does he drink at home? Straight bourbon? I wonder if the Spurs have him taking anything to increase bone strength with all the bones he's broken.

Difference between CoP and CoM is that CoP members would rather see the Spurs win, regardless of cir stances.

tony is average this year, he should be criticized. But blaming him for his general clutchness and turnovers because of one game. I guess the 9 games before were flukes.

I blame Parker for his mental mistakes. I blame the FO for letting him run the offense.

That TP TO was a foul that didnt get called. No way is Jennings arm long enough to tap the ball out, he mustve hit Parker's elbow. Sometimes it gets called, sometimes it doesnt.
Either way, close game without manu, maybe ford would've made a difference, who knows, just can't lose tonight. Houston is on their b to b as well, no excuses tonight.

Did you even see the replay of where he turned the ball over?? His arm was slapped from behind. Jennings didn't even touch the ball.
Thank you! It's about time someone said it. And the offensive foul on Timmy was just awful.

Regardless of that play, Parker sucked. The stats don't tell the whole store about how at times, he just kills the offensive flow. Tony and Timmy trying to run a pick and roll which usually now turns into Tony stepping back and taking a jump shot. All this while the other three guys stand aroudn watching.

I didn't like the call on Timmy. But it could have gone either way. He extended his arm some which made it look worse. Nothing the Spurs haven't benefitted from before.

I recorded the game on DVR last night and watched it late. At some point while watching, I opened SpursTalk (habit) and saw this thread on the main page. Trying to avoid spoilers, I didn't open the thread or come into the Spurs forum, but I assumed a thread like this meant the Spurs had won.

As the minutes wound down the Spurs got down by 7 with 3:30 left, I was wondering what kind of magic Parker was going to pull out.

Needless to say, I was highly surprised and disappointed when RJs three didn't go in.

    Goddamn you, sarcasm.

That's why I been screaming for Pop to run the flex offense. In Utah Jerry sloan ran that offense and was to cover over players offensive limitations (non shooters). Someone like RJ could score 17pts a night with out jacking up one 3. And parker would be racking up double double with low turnovers and a high fg%.

But if you wanna build around a score first point guard thats what you get.

In all honesty, If you see a thread that says something good about parker it usually is sarcasm. Parker doesn't get much credit around here, not saying that he deserves alot but just being truthful.
