It's entirely possible.

That's what I think. Coming into the league, he was a consummate PG. He was either gonna be a very serviceable starter or end up being a top-shelf back-up PG. And he was looking like he was coming back from his injuries up 'til that hit.

I remember seeing debates on who was faster between him and Tony Parker.....then we eventually had both of them.
