During the broadcast, they mentioned that Shaq was the leader and that TD would tie him with three more double doubles
Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine 1h More birthday glee for Timmy D: He & Pop now have all-time lead in playoff wins for player-coach duo: 119. @kobebryant & @PhilJackson11: 118
With his start in Game 4, Tim Duncan appeared in his 194th playoff game moving past Karl Malone and Danny Ainge and into sole possession of 7th place on the all-time list.
6 more games for him to become the 7th player in basketball history to appear in 200 playoff games.
By the way, Tony Parker is now in the top 30 all-time in that category and will pass Wilt Chamberlain if he appears in every game of the 2013 WCSF. He needs 7 more appearances to tie Paul Silas for 26th, 8 more appearances to tie Larry Bird for 25th, and 9 more appearances to tie Bill Russell for 24th.
One other related note: when he coaches Game 1 of the WCSF, Gregg Popovich will become only the 4th coach to guide his team through 200 playoff games, joining Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, and Jerry Sloan.
He tied Wilt tonight and
ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo
Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili & Tim Duncan have 93 playoff wins as a trio, 2nd-most by any trio in history. Magic, Kareem & Cooper have 110.
He'll be alone in 2nd place soon...
Game 6 takes Timmy over the 200 playoff games threshold.
200 playoff games..

dat 506 blocks in the playoffs
By stepping onto the floor for Game 4 of the 2013 Finals, Tim Duncan will tie Scottie Pippen for 6th all-time in career playoff games with 208 and if he plays in Game 5 as well, he'll (obviously) assume 6th place entirely by himself.
With 6 rebounds in the remainder of this series, Tim passes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the all-time playoff rebounding list and assumes 4th place entirely to himself. With 34 more rebounds, he moves past Shaq and into 3rd place. He's more than 1000 playoff rebounds clear of the next active player -- Garnett. He also needs 58 points to move past Julius Erving and into 6th place on the all-time playoff scoring list.
That's not really all that impressive IMHO... it penalizes players who have been extremely dominant with high winning % as the spurs have been.
^^^^ Err.. what I meant to say it makes it all the more impressive.
This was from a May article but still cool, for Playoff Double Doubles
