Bonner's been busting his ass on defense. I will definitely give him that.

But again, he's here to shoot the ball. If he can't hit a shot against the Warriors who are playing rookies then he may have hit rock bottom.
He took yet another knee-to-knee shot the other night. When he shoots off one leg, he drives them pretty low. I haven't been watching for it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're flat.

And likewise a pretty bad loss for the Spurs. No matter how many rotation players for us are sitting this out, it'll still take a gargantuan effort to out-tank this Warriors squad.
Look at it this way. Warriors win, they lose a top 7 draft pick in a top heavy draft.

Not that it would ever be likely, but you could weaken a WC rival by losing this game. The ironing would be delicious.

Spurs may have made the right choice with Anderson.

I've been on his side most of this season. I said he needed court time, I said he was a volume shooter, scorer, but it looks like he is proving me wrong with these minutes he's been getting. He hasn't taken hold of the opportunity. He really needs to give it his all this game and try and show someone that he can play. Still time to turn it around.

Warriors are playing hard. These guys aren't trying to lose for whoever was saying that.

Our 2nd and 3rd units look even worse than last game. The Suns game was somewhat passable.

This is pure summer league basketball right now.

I'll trade him for a 2nd round pick.

Then again, it goes to a better Jazz team. GS will probably screw up the pick anyway

No, this is how the Warriors tank. They play their hardest for 3 quarters or so to stay sharp and to show the coaches what they can do. They'll tank in the 4th quarter.

I hate the way James Anderson is playing tonight. He's not a rotation player, and he's given a chance to show what he can do and he's out there playing non chalant and lazy.

    Pre-game locker room, Marc Jackson:

"Okay... the FO told me to start all the rookies. But we aren't gonna tank this game. I want you guys to go out there and play hard, and win this one."

    Post-game interview, Marc Jackson:

"Really? This was even quicker than Avery Johnson got fired? A new record? No, I wasn't aware of that."
