You don't see a problem with the fact your top seeded teams has problems selling tickets in the playoffs? Of course all of the games are "sold out" due to corporate sponsors, scalpers, etc trying to get a profit out of the tickets. Sad thing is the Spurs fanbase is either cheap or not loyal enough to buy these tickets at the reduced rates.

    lol quotes

The games are sold out due to all the tickets' being bought.

Secondary market doesn't make any difference to the team's bottom line.

It's pretty pathetic yes that tickets would go for so cheap but SA is somewhat of an impoverished town..nobody there has money for leisure right now.

You obviously do not live here.

San Antonio is NOT a rich city by any stretch. The cost of living here is very low. Imo the seats are crunched up and the beer is ridiculously expensive. So, I watch it on the TV.

You will however see many cars with Spurs flags flying. The city loves the team. But as far as going to the games... why? There are huge parties at residences all over the city. My neighborhood has cars parked all up and down the streets during the games and big backyard BBQ's.

I guess New Orlean's fan cant understand the culture of a city and team. You think they might.

Another truthbomb for these Spurs folk saying the game is sold out. Looks like plenty of tickets are still available for Game 1!

    exactly

some Spur fan just can't seem to understand the problem. when you have a ticket that someone or a business paid $22 face value for and because the demand for tickets is so low that they have result to selling it on stubhub for $5-7 ... yes that reflects poorly on the fan base.
The Spurs can't control websites like StubHub or other ticket re-sell places for buying loads of tickets and then selling them for way cheaper. The Spurs could give a , because they still originally sold them for what they are worth. End of story....

Why don't you click on the areas? There are only 4-5 tickets per each lower level section, and they are all single tickets. The light blue color indicates a very low amount of tickets left. The dark blue means there are still a good amount of tickets left, which is in the nosebleeds. I don't know about you, but I don't buy nose bleed seats. There are people who prefer lower level and most of those are all gone...

Facts are fact though that this game WON'T be a sellout like some of you are claiming. There are over 3000 cheap tickets on stubhub!

sons the bottom line is that some of you need to get up off your computers and go support your team. every other NBA team in the playoffs now including Indiana's pathetic ass fan base is doing their job.

35+ years means the Spurs should have a much larger fanbase plus the fact that they've been a top team for the past decade. Why can't yall sell those seats brah?

Don't tell me fat boy, I did my part. I paid $150 each for my lower level seats for Game 2, and I'm a broke ass college student who lives 3 hours away from San Antonio. So I can't speak for everyone else...

    What problems?

All the games will sell out.
Seems there is a problem, when organizations like this want SH to put a cap on the minimum allowed sale price of tix, eh.

Not sure if Stub Hub is a good barometer for judging the price of tickets sold on the secondary market. I placed some of my tickets on sale through TicketExchange and they sold pretty well for first game. Anytime I can double my initial investment I am quite pleased.

Given that the Yankees' home attendance is currently 81% of capacity and the Spurs was 99% for the regular season and 100% for the playoffs, I'd say it's less of a problem for the Spurs.
