Clipper Nation, thank you for your kind words. It took me a long time to come up with something that I feel will be my first, real, legitimate screenplay. By the way, I love The Royal Tenenbaums.
DMC, you're right, the younger brother is definitely the protagonist, & the older is the antagonist, but you know, he's going to have plenty of layers, along with the young one. & Thank you for reminding me, that first I need to solidify the closeness of the brothers, before the plot thickens. I'm going to have to spend a lot of time developing these characters, even the other family members, the older brother's wife and son (who is 13, old enough to where I have to create a unique personality for him). Their mother, & sister, friends of the younger brother, a love interest (can't leave it out). I value your advice, it's been great so far.
& mystix, I was planning on the audience being aware of the secret, because if it's kept a secret, there is no antagonist in the older brother, there is only a twist at the end. But I know what you mean, add a little shock value, I have a couple little bombs s I've been thinking about for the script. Like, since the younger brother is spending so much time with his nephew, his older brother's wife notices and it makes her feel good, so she comes on to him pretty strong. His younger brother would then have to tell his older brother, breaking his heart, and the older brother would still have to write it in his book.
Guys, when you think about these characters..
What actors do you think of playing these roles? Lol.
