Anyone having problems with pushing the what's hot thread box thing aside?
I'm clicking the arrow thing and it doesn't close.
Its skewing the way the boards looks.
When I click on a thread name to see the first page it always takes me to the last page.

Latest addition:
Due to a few suggestion in this thread, I've added more navigation to the bottom of pages. In threads, you will now see navigation options right above the quick reply box. It should also solve any issue of knowing what thread you are in before you reply, as pointed out by boutons_deux
It'll be back.
Latest change: Click on the date to the right of the thread starter and that will take you to the very beginning of the thread. For anyone who doesn't like the automatic jump to the newest post, that's an easy way to avoid it.
Looks really great guys. My eyes are struggling a little to pick up all the info due to the colours being all the same, but I'll definitely get used to it and it looks much better than it did.
(The clicking on thread le taking you to the latest post is damn annoying, but with the workarounds timvp mentioned, it shouldn't be long until we all get used to it)
The dates are only showing up in the spurs forum. Don't see any date in the nba forum, the club, etc..
This whole new layout does not make it a pleasant experience for tablet users. It has to render everytime I scroll and typing is a hassle. The keyboard doesn't automatically pop up in the quick reply text box.
On the page with list of thread les, why isn't the sub-menu of pages at the bottom of the page not repeated at the top of the page. Have to scroll down to get to next page of thread les.
The "Ignore this signature feature".
Applause.
Looks tight. Where the Troll Forum go?
Just wanted to say congrats and looks great timvp, Kori Ellis, Muki and Slomo.

Question for Muki...
One issue that still remains and had even with the old software is when using the back button on Firefox.
Basically, when I go inside a thread then use the back button to back out, it loads the page from the browser cache, and so it doesn't mark it as read and still shows bold. The workaround that I've used all these years is to click on the forum link instead of using the back button and that works (The back button works fine in Safari, not sure on other browsers).
I looked at the Cache-Control header the server sends and right now it's just 'private'. Is there a way to perhaps use mod_headers and add 'must-revalidate' to the Cache-Control header for the site? I think that would fix the cache issue and still not ditch the cache entirely in pages that have not changed.
Define TRoll...
timvp I noticed in WYSIWYG Mode (A/A button on far left of quick reply edit tools will be white box instead of blue) the tab key goes to post quick reply button.
The only thing Source Mode (A/A button will be blue) adds is a email icon. Maybe somehow make WYSIWYG mode default?

Update: I've changed how ST goes about determining whether you've read a thread. It used to be cookie based ... now it's handled by the database. The change will probably cause some hiccups in the short-term but it's a much better way to do it.
In the meantime, threads that you've read will probably show up as unread now. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Lost the ability to sort threads by the person who started it, or to sort them at all.
Thanks. I'll check it out at home with Firefox tonight and report back.
This still didn't fix the issue with Firefox's back button for me. No biggie.
Update: I ended up writing an XPI add-on for firefox that manipulates the incoming headers and fixes the problem.
It's limited to affect only www.spurstalk.com
If anybody is having the same problem with the Firefox back button, this fixes it. If you don't experience the problem, don't bother.
Here's the Add-on:

When pasting in line-spaced paragraphs, we're back to having the line spacing lost, and putting it back in manually.
I like the new look. A little congested but overall its an improvement. I still wish there was some way to tell which threads I've posted in. Some forums have a dot or some kind of indicator to the left of the thread le.
