Welp, at least I saw flashes of MVP Tony. Spurs still continue to show abysmal BBIQ and bad perimeter D.
37 pts on a quarter...in before jax wouldn't let this happen

if the Kings continue to hit the three the Spurs could have some problems ... Kawhi was invisible in the 2nd
With a couple more inches and functional ACLs, he'd be looking at $4M/year. Unfortunate for him.
You're right. 4 assists, 5 rebounds and 7 points for Splitter. Remarkable, isn't it?
I hate that kawhi can disappear so quick
Yeah. I'm still confused as to why people were surprised that Splitter was sucking with Tony out. He was going to wide open spots on the floor when Tony was out. The problem was Nando or Gary weren't getting him the ball because they were overly conservative.
You can't score if you don't get the ball. He was relegated to isolation plays in the post, which he's OK at but that's never been his forte.
Tony looks good. He's getting more confidence as the game goes
Tony 13pts(5-5 FG)/4ast/3rebs/3tos
Kawhi 11pts
TD 7pts/5rebs/2blks
Splitter 7pts/5rebs/4ast/stl/blk
The D was great in the first, Timmy sat, the Kings got hot when the Spurs had to overcompensate for his absence. Really becoming a tiring trend.
Neal and Kawhi combined for a total of 0 for 7 on three point shots. The only three pointers we have are the ones by Bonner and Green. Sacramento is something like 6 of 13 on threes and we are 2 of 9. Think we could change that a bit in the second half?
More shots for Green, have Leonard run a couple isos, hope Neal decides to show up, and let the O come to Bonner.
nothing screams OPTIMISM like playing the Kings!!!
Duncan and Green each had two turnovers as well. Splitter had none.
Yeah and thats a pretty tall order to fill in the offseason I mean most guys DB45 age are already fully growned and usually can not grow a couple inches but you never know oh and I also herd that Kobe got feti injected into his knees in Germany (Deustchland I used to live there) so maybe Blairy could go get those this summer and then come get his millions you never know with technology these days anyways he is playing good/well against the Queens tonite so happy for him
Lakers would have a parade if they were beating Sacramento by double digits, based on the media's reactions to their close wins against the Pelicans and Blazers, tbh..
Hey all, I've been busy and haven't been around during our slump, but I hope you're well.![]()
Sloppy start. Come on Spurs.
nobody is well after todays news about SJax being waived
Cousins just showed up Duncan on that. Duncan spent way too much of the shot clock trying to get that iso to work and then it didn't.
Kawhi has learned to give it up on the fast break. It's better for everybody.
BOOM THIS TEAM FUXIN SUXSSSSSSSSSSSSS
He hasn't been a difference-maker for some time, I'm not sure it matters much.
Man, Tony keeps trying to get Kawhi back on track.
