Not one, like 23.
No, seriously, not a single one. I asked for a lot of trials, and got several dismissed that way. Asking for a Stenographer and Jury Trial after having the date pushed back as far as possible and then rescheduling it can make things happen.
It was a load of effort, but that was because I had no other options, so I had to use the system against itself. If I could have just gotten DA - I had already used it several times in recent history and the prosecuters refused to give it to me - I would have paid and had it taken care of. But like I said, I was really stupid on the road back then.
I haven't driven one time since I've lived in Texas. That's a man's job and timvp likes driving.
You'll have no problem getting CBA in a municipal court for a city the size of Austin. Like I said, it's more about the money tickets bring in that actual law enforcement.
roflmao
and i hardly lmao
I have also never pumped gas in my life. That's what Full Service is for.
Kori just set the feminist movement back 30 years!
whats CBA? I also thought about pushing this stuff to trial like youre saying, but I think, well the facts are facts and i WAS speeding so thats what they'll keep throwing back at me.
The only time I ever got a ticket was in Hill Country Village for one of my stickers being outdated. But I got it thrown out because on the ticket they put my race as white, which was probably because Hill Country Village had just got in trouble for racial profiling.
Racial profiling is the shizzle![]()
Kori you slay me! My little sister is the only other person I've met that doesn't do that either.
hmmmmm well in my ticket they put my height wrong....perhaps I can use this in my potential trial...
Hey now, feminism is about having a choice - if Kori wants to make men do this for her, then more power to her![]()
That's not necessarily true! It depends on the city court! In Castle Hills, it is "for any moving violation" . This may not be true for other cities; I don't know for sure. DA in Bexas County, must be new because as of last year (01/04), that was not an option given by JP prec. #3.Also, you just have to not get a ticket for the same offense. If you go in and get DA on speeding, but get pulled over 2 months later while on probation for improper lane change, it doesn't count against you.
Bottom line, None of us really know what we are talking about so It is best to contact a lawyer. Trust me you will get plenty of solicitations by mail. (Oops their I go making another sexual innuendo)![]()
Hey!! Enough with the sexual innuendos already!!!!!![]()
I've had some funny happen to me being pulled over.
I got pulled over downtown years ago and the girl I was dating at the time was in my passenger seat. The cop pulled me over because I accelerated too fast (bull ) and then because I changed lanes without a blinker. Well, he pulls me over and he's getting my information while the girl sticks her body out of the window to wave and yell at some friends of ours who drove by.
Cop just looks at me and goes "Is there a reason you can't drive and act normal?"
He let me go without even a warning, and just said to act normal or he'd find me.
Another time, I got pulled over downtown by a bike cop because I was racing. I moved into the lane where it's buses only and brave (psycho) bike cop jumps out in front of me with his bike in front of him as if it's some sheild and it's going to stop my car from running over him. I slam on the breaks and come to rest maybe 2 inches from his bike.
So his partner comes over to my passanger window, looks down and says "I hope you're ready to go to jail, asshole." They give me for about 5 minutes, then the guy wants to know what I'm doing racing a sedan. I used to drive an Alero that I made some mods to and ran much faster than any 4 door car should. So we spent the next 10 minutes looking under my hood so I could show him what I did.
Then they wrote me a ticket and sent me on my way. They so made me belive I was getting off with nothing and they gave me a damn ticket.
But this is the funniest story. One night after going to midnight rodeo with aforementioned girl, I got pulled over on Blanco. I was going maybe 10 over, and I was really nice to the cop. Actually, I'm always really nice to them. It's the best way to get off scott free. Anyhow, he goes back to his car with my license, and I layed my head on the steering wheel and had my hands in my lap. I guess it looked from back there as though I was praying because when he came up, he said "You were praying, weren't you boy?" So naturally I play along. "Yes sir!" "Well you thank god for this one son. Go on now and drive safe."
So I get in my car, and I turn around to get back on Blanco and as I'm pulling up to his car he motions for me to stop. Then he goes "You go to church on Sunday, because god knows. And if you don't, I'll know."
And that was that.
I didn't go to church that sunday, BTW.
If I didn't pump gas I'd be pushing my car.![]()
There are actually Gas Stations that still offer Full Service?
And to think, I've been getting out of my car like a sucker!![]()
I stopped reading at this sentence. You must have sucked ass at racing if a BIKE cop could catch you.I got pulled over downtown by a bike cop because I was racing![]()

I meant DA. I have the NBA's CBA on the brain I guess. You can take it to trail and the best case scenario is that you get it dismissed. But the worst case is that you pay the full fine.
If I were you, I'd just get DA and be done with it.
In L.A. there is. I don't know about San Antonio. Like I said, I don't drive here. There are actually Gas Stations that still offer Full Service?![]()
Read the rest ass!
I did read it. I just thought that line was funny.
That reminds me of the time a University bike cop tried to pull me over and I just drove away.
