Yep. I can see downplaying their win against the Thunder, but they beat a tough Clippers team that was playing really well. And, as you said, it was after they went down 0-2.
I got the last one right, Spurs in 6.
Spurs in 7, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's Memphis in 7. Either way, we've got a long series coming up.

Spurs in 6 but could easily be 5, depends on if the Spurs hit there shots but they'll get looks. Memphis beat a short handed OKC team but they weren't blowouts and if Durant could have hit shots than they would have taken the series. We have enough scoring to equal there output and more and a defense that can show up.
Spurs in 7.
I could see it being shorter in the Spurs favor though.
I think we've got probably the best and most versatile frontline to deal with Zach and Marc. Zach killed us in '11 but I honestly don't see him having that kind of a efficiency this time around. Diaw/Splitter are both excellent one-on-one defenders that I think will make life as difficult as anyone can for him. Gasol is just a beast. I really don't know if there's anybody outside of Dwight Howard that has the length and size to give him any trouble. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Baynes but on him at times, but who knows. I think the biggest key will be limiting Conley though. If Conley is taken out of his game, where do the Grizz get enough offense?
7 games...Spurs
or
6 games...Grizzles
SA needs that HCA.
Spurs in 7. El Nono, you suck
I feel the same way. It was really only those dual sharp-shooters that were making life difficult for us with the Warriors. If we can match Gasol-Bo, we should clean up fine in 4 of 5 games.
SPURS IN 6, SPURS IN 4 if one of the Memphis bigs go down in the first two games
Spurs in 7. This assumes the Spurs play well, though.
This is hilarious, gives me an idea for a Baynes' nickname Big Outback
Duncan's name will be forever hated in Gasol's household after sending both brothers fishing. Spurs in 5.
The spurs need to badly use their ball movement in this series. If we continue to abuse the ineffective Duncan/Parker pick and pop we're doomed.
I say Memphis in 6.
Memphis is playing more of a team right now than the spurs.

The Spurs havnt faced any real playoff adversity while Memphis has.
Clippers are no joke now and despite not having Westbrook and Harden, the Thunder are still a tough match-up. Memphis has battled a much tougher road to the WCF than we have. No matter how you look at it, Memphis is a true battle-tested team and I wouldn't be surprised if they take it in 6.... But we have Pop... I'm in no way comparing myself to an NBA coach, and certainly not near the caliber of Pop, but I think he has a plan and its quite simple when it comes to Memphis.
Memphis has a much tougher and level-headed front court than L.A. had but their perimeter shooters are dismal compared to our gunners. I'm not saying they are the weakened Lakers team that we played in the first round, but if we can clog the paint and limit Gasol and Randolph on easy buckets and make the rest of their roster try to beat us, we have a good chance of winning. The important people we need to show up in this series are our big men on the defensive end.... that means playing physical defense and fighting for defensive boards. We cant allow 2nd, 3rd, or 4th shots like we did with the Warriors. Tiago is going to have to step up BIG TIME in this series.
I honestly believe if we can control the paint on the defensive end at least to an extent, we can win this series... We have a roster full of shooters, they will have to be on their mark for us to win though. Make Conley, Allen and Prince have to beat us, take Gasol and Randolph out of the game as much as possible.
I BELIEVE!!! Spurs in 6.
