    Beli will on his haters.
he will. and I said some weeks ago that I wouldn't be surprised, if he even becomes the starter at the 2 during the season. (this would also solve the back up SF question, b/c DG would move to this role.)
if Kawhi gets a more important role on offense, a good ball handler, shooter and passer like Beli might be the better compliment to support Kawhi's offense game than Green could be. and Kawhi will compensate the weak board production from Beli.

Germany losing games is nice for France because results against teams that are eliminated are erased for the second round.

I think it is time to bring him in to training camp; he has the skill set to play back up SF and some small ball PF (has similar build to AK47). Has the ability to hit the 3 ball, can rebound, and play some defense...what else do we need from the back up 3? And I've noticed he is one of the go to players for Georgia in late game situations, plus he isn't afraid to shoot/make big shots. He is one those players that can fill the stat sheet (I like those type of players). Plus whatever his real age is, he still has athleticism.

It will take Spurs offering him a guaranteed contract to have Sanikdize leaving on the table the €400K he has left on his contract with Siena. And I really don't find he has similar build to Kirilenko. He should be about 30 lbs lighter than him.

If we get the guy who shows up for the Georgian National team - the guy who says "It doesn't matter Win or lose, we have to fight every game", I'd be willing to give that guy a guaranteed vet min - he brings everything he's got. Also, isn't he going to be dumped (somehow) by Sienna? There is something in the Sanikidze thinktank thread, http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/show...=124732&page=7.

    Maljković says............

    YOU!
    O rly?
I am first to admit - Maljković lead the team against Spain really good, excelent actually; however - this was his first(!) real match (forget frendly matches) to do so. I still remember Litva, I still remember game against Czech.
So after a plenty of horrific choached games you are sold after one great win?
And congrats, you are one really patient guy, have to wait for two years to be able to write something like above

And yes, I still remember his qoutes regarding both Bečirović and Divac...

They don't want him back but he has a guaranteed contract so they have to pay him.

Rough start for Belinelli, 0-5 from the field. He had to create a lot for himself though, Italy really lacks a point guard who can make plays for others.

Not a good first half for him, 0-8 and just 2pts off FTs. He has been mostly used as a point guard to run high pick and rolls pretty much every other time down the floor. But there's not much of a roll threat so Finland could really focus their attention on Belinelli there. Itay should run him off screens more instead of just giving him the ball at the top of the key and asking him to create, it's just too predictable.

BTW: I was watching Spain-Czech; until 4Q it was pretty even; if Czech would have two more decent player, it would be close. Spain really seems to be vulnerable

Italy makes a big run with Belinelli on the bench and a smaller, quicker lineup on the floor. Much better ball and player movement than before. The defensive intensity also picked up. Seems like Finland just ran out of gas in the second half, just launching shots from the outside but hitting very few of them.

Next up Sanikidze against Slovenia, should be a fun one.
