Scenario One:

Win both of their final two games against the Grizzlies (4/14) and Sacramento Kings (4/16).
AND...

Lose all three of their final contests against the Los Angeles Lakers (4/13), Suns (4/14) and Mavericks (4/16).

Win both of their final two games against the Grizzlies (4/14) and Sacramento Kings (4/16).
AND...

Beat the Lakers (4/13), lose to the Suns (4/14) and then drop the final contest of the season at home to Mavericks (4/16).
OR
Lose to the Lakers (4/13), lose to the Suns (4/14) and then win final contest of the season at home to Mavericks (4/16).

That's right Suns fans, to reach the postseason after a three-year hiatus, the purple and orange need help from Dirk Nowitzki, Mike D'Antoni and Steve Nash.

So cully, can we merge the two scenarios into one assumption that if the Suns are to make the playoffs, they'd have to win both games (including the game against Grizzlies) and hope that Memphis lose at least one of the other two games (either to Mavs or to Lakers)?
