Clips living off the food stamps
Floooooooooooooooooop![]()
i can't tell the difference between jackson and rivers
aren't they basically the same style of coach?
It's pretty sad that Harrison Barnes has made no improvements to his game this season..Reverend Jackson failed him, tbh..
Clippers win in the 2nd half with more Griffin and less Granger..
What's the deal with Harrison Barnes? He looks terrible and playing with zero confidence. Night and day from the Spurs series last year. Wonder if the iggy signing messed with his mind
CP3 in full on choke mode, trying to play like Durbeta or Harden and spam the rip-through move every possession (which isn't getting him any calls) instead of running the offense.... this is unwatchable with all the whistles on both ends....
Blake getting those three bogus foul calls changed the complexion of the game, tbh.... Doc needs to rip them a new one at halftime and get them back to moving the ball and playing defense instead of one-on-one trash and fishing for calls....
Why the do people keep overrating Barnes off of last years series? Pop made him look good by design. Didn't Parker guard hm for awhile?
Big deal,,,yer with the Spurs, dummy.
Ya, most of his points were from posting up against Neal and Parker and he definitely became overrated, but still, you would think that he would have capitalized from the playoff confidence and hype..
You know that Jackson or Doc will mention refs in post game depending on who gets hosed more.
Not only has he not improved, his shooting %'s across the board have actually regressed, tbh.

still took him 26 shots to score 26 points![]()
I get the game plan stuff, etc. from last year, but I'm surprised he's playing so timidly after having some "success" last year on the big stage.
JVG with some truth bombs, haha
I disagree. A lot of people see their point guards play less effectively in the Playoffs and conclude that they are choking. In reality, the post season is when you see the defenses in the league step up, focus on the best player on the other team, usually the point guard, and put big guys on them to slow them down or make their passes harder to make.
Virtually every team tries to do it against the other teams' point guards because that position is so critical to the offensive set flow for each team. We do it against CP3 for the same reason, and it "looks" to a casual fan as though Parker has beaten CP3 yet again. In fact, Danny Green has usually been assigned to CP3, and he is several inches taller with a wider wing span and a chance to make Chris paul look off his game.
It happened to Tony in the finals last season when they put LeBron on him.
Any time a speed-oriented point guard is guarded by a talented, much bigger buy, the pg loses that game.
Both coaches have to figure out how to get the ball up the court if the pg is drawing double teams or a big defender with someone else. Additionally, the entire team has to be aware of what the defenders are doing and step up to provide better screens for the pg or handle the ball for the pg. Whoever the big defender would normally be defending must be open, so the rest of the team has to aware and move the ball to the open guy.
warriors are so badly coached, why are they playing 99 spurs basketball like they have the admiral?
lmao refs
