We shouldn't have assigned dirk to guard Aldridge imho. Dirk was pretty much worn out at the defensive end through the first half that was why he sucked ass offensively in the 2nd half, which cost us the game. Maybe we should try starting Aminu or RDJ, moving Parsons to 4 and Dirk to the bench so we'd have a fresh-legged Dirk owning the opponents' 2nd unit. Dirk's better suited for a 6th man role at this point of his career, he ain't Tim Duncan imho.

Dirk needs to start. Just play him less minutes in the first half.

I credit our centers as the result of our improvement. But it's nice Parsons is in a good rhythm lately.

agree TC also makes enormous contributions to this team tbh, he & Dirk complements each other perfectly. But I don't think TC has much to do with our improvements at the offensive end, at least he doesn't make much direct impact on our offense imho.

Always annoying to play a serious rival on the second day of a back-to-back. We kept it close. But just not good enough. We can do better.

Youre right...... The back to back and 3 games in 4 nights had nothing to do with it. Dat Rockets D made Dirk shoot poor and Monta miss layups.

Had Mavs won it wouldn't of mattered...... Until teams are at full strength.

Missing free throws in the final minute and Parsons getting abused on D had a lot more to do with it than tired legs.
