Not sure if lifestyle has anything to do with someone who's in the upper middle to high salary bracket. Milk them good before it's too late son. I hear Pharma is the next big thing with many of the big players investing & acquiring pharma countries in Asia & Europe.
    .
The 10 year patent shelf life is killing them, your average drug takes 6 years and $2bil to get to markret.

    10% of 45000 = 4500
    30% of 190000 = 27000

    Perspective
i don't know what you do for a living, but i know you don't teach math tbh

to be fair 27K would be 30% of 90K, so maybe you just added an extra 1 in front

no extra 1s 57,000 is the right number, though I was being a bit facetious in the sense that my adjusted tax rate after deductions, pretax 401k, insurance, etc, is closer to 20%

Used to in my younger days. Product manager now. I can get by, but that's all outsourced to Bangalore now. I've got a crew of 25 injins that make 20% what we'd pay a Euro or 'Murican

Max it out and forget about it. Don't even look at your statements

Also, owning homes is a great scam. Even the ones you rent out you can deduct the interest. And if you're white you can get a loan with only 5-10% down

Drugs take longer than 6 years to make it to market. The preclinical phase alone can take up to 6 years. That's not to mention the 3 stages of the clinical phase itself that tests for safety - which could take up to a decade (or longer) - before it is finally approved by the FDA. Your $2B figure is pretty low too, but I digress.

I'd expect more accuracy from an educated farmer who makes $190K after taxes. My cousin has his PharmD, is a Pharmacist working for CVS, and he doesn't make that much. What are your credentials? What degrees do you have? What is your official le? What company do you work for again? I need to research all this "knowledge" you are dropping on these unsuspecting farmers.

    - hardly son.

Look at you bragging on a $160 massage. The $190K man is a BIG spender!

PS - I spent 5.5 years in Japan. Don't pull ^ stunt again (trying to pull the wool over the eyes of innocent farmers).

I'm talking post-patent, obviously, which occurs towards the end of the pre/non clinical phase. I specialize in Clinical/eTMF but dip my hand into regulatory/eCTD occasionally. There's only like 5 global companies who do doc management for big pharma, you've got enough info and classified status to dox me.

You are full of it. I've been in Navy Medicine for 21 years. Of those years, I've been a comissioned Medical Service Corps Officer for a tad over 8 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration. I'm also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

So I know lot more than I'll allude to on ST when I'm joking around. Therefore, I am more than qualified to have an educated discussion on this topic.

Remember, we comissioned officers have the same credentials as our civilian counterparts.

No, just exposing you and your nonsense since you have no respect for the military. In the Navy I've traveled the world and I have lived overseas. So when I see you brag about spending $160 on a massage - like that is impressive - I laughed because I had the pleasure to live there and not just visit for a few days, on business.
