In the end, he has the same amount of Super Bowls as Brady during that span.
Fivehead choking is a playoff tradition, can't really hold that against January Joe.
In the end, he has the same amount of Super Bowls as Brady during that span.
Personally the playcall is just always gonna overshadow that throw for me. I dont care who throws that pick, even if it was a dooming mistake.. when you have a RB like Lynch and are 1 yard away from the le.. place and time 21 seconds and 1 timeout and 3 downs.. its just a shockingly terrible playcall and eerily reminds me of Carrolls mismanagement of the 2006 Rose Bowl blowing a 38-26 lead to Texas and making a questionable 4th and 2 playcall.
im not holding it against him. but LOL at this new quarter-by-quarter evaluation method
joe bags did nothing in the 2nd half as the niners came back
its stupid. Flacco played a good overall game and deserved mvp. nobody took it away because "he had 2 quarters where he did nothing"
So what are all those guys like Terry Bradshaw, Bart Star and Troy Aikman doing in the HOF, they all played on great teams.
Now look at starts/wins/stats, it's not even close. There is no QB who had a better first three seasons.
Bad playcall, but you're sounding like a Wilson apologist trying to overshadow the actual INT being thrown, tbh..
Definitely should have given it to your best player on 2nd down from the 1 yard line, especially with a few downs remaining, it was a terrible call..however, the QB still threw one of the worst INTs you'll ever see(considering the cir stances)..puzzling, especially for an intelligent QB like Wilson..
its only one of the worst INTs ever given cir stance thats it. Still not handong it to your best offensive player and best short yardage runner and just a flat out ing boss 1 yard away from the end zone? I think thats just being. wilson hater not me being a Wilson apologist. Football is tbe game where coaches fingerprints have the most impact ans the OC and Carroll are the biggest at fault. that INt doesnt even hurt Wilsons legacy.
Fran Tarkenton/Jim Kelly both HOFers went 0-7in SB's.
Namath, Young, only played in one.
Moon
Rivers
Romo
Fouts
never played in one.
RW already more success than all them, and has as many SB wins as Peyton Manning had in his long career.
Lynch falls down in the endzone and RW wins the MVP award.
Wilson's "legacy"? Game managers don't have legacies![]()
this. even on a terrible playcall, you can always throw it away instead of forcing it into traffic. to be fair, the defender made a great play to jump the route the way he did, you can't always account for that (see Brady's 2nd pick where Wagner jumped the route in front of a seemingly open Gronk).
there's never an excuse for a pick like that. if you're wilson, you have to realize its 2nd down. if its not open, just live to fight another down. uncharacteristic. usually the one thing wilson is good at is avoiding picks
I cannot believe there is no mention of how we missed out on an epic superbowl mvp interview with marshawn Lynch due to that cluster of a playcall.
He already has a lecacy, where you been? You really don't know all the things he's done never seen before do up?
and he was still the best Ravens player in the 2nd half with those stats
You can't win anything![]()
So many know nothings here it's comical, hahahaha!
Joe Namath only made it to one SB and his stats suck....HALL OF FAME! RW has already did more in his short career.
Why act totally re ed? RW...one foot..from winning two SB's in his first three seasons. Why totally ignore that?
jacoby jones' kickoff return to open the half outweighed everything Flacco did in that half
If Im gonna blame Wilson for anything its for not realizing how stupid that playcall was and audibling out of it
bizarre slant pass or marshawn ing lynch? tough ing call
he shouldn't have pulled the trigger on a throw into such a congested spot tbh... throw it away and live to fight another down
I'm about to spackle your rectum again, Philo. In that 4th quarter Flacco led 2 time-consuming drives that ended in FG's--one ended on a dropped pass.
You can't even rag on that point because you made your bed last year when you sucked off Wilson for "leading the Seahawks" on 2 1st qtr FG drives (despite excellent field position)
You can't beat me, boy...you never will
the difference is, i'm showing you how stupid this "what did he do in x quarter" evaluation method is. i'm not actually being serious in saying Flacco didn't deserve MVP. he absolutely did. he played a damn good game and deserved it. i'm not going to nitpick by saying "well in this quarter, he didn't do so good"
Black QB's with the SB in their grasp:
1. Kaep: 4 and out on the goal line
2. Wilson: 1-yard interception.
DeadlyDynasty working Philo like Joe Bags works opposing defenses come playoff time.
