He didn't use DJ as leverage haha... he was able to block Griffin's shot and keep DJ from jumping for the alley-oop. Duncan just single-handedly stopped a play simultaneously.
And that concludes my Tim Duncan love fest.

Timmy Jim?
Tim should retire before next year's HGH testing begins, tbh..
Yea it's from a commercial ESPN did with Tim Lince a few years ago.
It's obscene the level he's playing at and as great as it is to watch, I hate to say it, but this is getting Bryant in '13 esque. The workload he's carrying and how hard he's playing doesn't seem sustainable. It seems like something has to give at some point.
Obviously, at this point, it's about winning 1 more game and worrying about it after that. But if they can finish it in 6, they'll get 3 days off leading into the Rockets series, then it's every other day until game 7. That means pulling out all the stops to win game 1, but after that, they're going to have to ease his burden.
When the Game 4 legend speaks, you listen.
Just saw this on Facebook and was going to post it here.
That beautiful game vid, I have to rewatch it every time i see it. And I cry every time.![]()
