Doesn't matter if Randle was hurt or not. He doesn't have an NBA game right now. Power forwards being able to knock down the 15 footer is more important than ever, and Randle hasn't made a jumpshot in like 10 years (check his college stats). His scoring is overrated. He took advantage of smaller, less athletic guys on the college level. His footwork is good, but not quick enough to score consistently in the league. Not a great vertical either. Towns fits today's game better with his length and lateral defense, plus his scoring is solid as well.

From everything I've read (don't watch college outside of the tourney) people compare him to Bogut. Decent offensive game (not very athletic or fluid) and some potential defensively.
Okafor gets compared to Zbo/Al Jefferson.
