Lawson's been linked as a Mavs trade target for some time. Don't know how we can swing his $12 mil salary next year if Denver decides to move on from him. Would love to have him.
Dallas seems to be the best destination for Ty Lawson if Denver trades him. They could always dump him in Philly, or N.Y (If they aren't overly enthusiastic with Grant. Although If I'm NY I'd like to see where that goes, he certainly has the physical tools and pedigree).

We can negotiate a sign&trade with either Suns or Pacers (teams that signed TC and Ellis via free transfer) just to acquire a trade exception, then we can send the exception to Denver (who're seeking to dump Lawson's salary) in exchange for Lawson imho.

If Dallas can somehow figure this out financially, I think he'd be a great place setter for them. And he's a good enough perimeter shooter as well to group with Matthews/Parsons. He'll ease the transition in the short term with the PnR with DJ, seeing as how Jordan obviously wants to develop his post game and that is going to take some time. He'll be good with Dirk in the same scenario. And, he has the legs to push the ball with the youth in the starting lineup. I personally think they'll need another wing scorer at some point, but PG is an obvious need at this point and seeing as how Rondo just got 10 million () Lawson's contract isn't bad at all.

Clippers are ed obviously but they weren't winning anyway, expect Blake to bolt in two years. As for the Mavs.........
