I like the Cardinals and have a lot of family in Phoenix so I hope for their sake that Mathis plays a lot better than he did this year for Denver because he was garbage. However, he had nagging injuries all season long so you never know.
Sounds like Cardinals are still on on CB Leon Hall and newly waived, 2x former Cardinal, LB Karlos Dansby.
That'd be pretty awesome.

i'm not a fan of PFF's grades (prefer their unique stats, i find the grades to be incredibly subjective), but they had him ranked as the #1 run blocking guard this year. they could be inaccurate, but they cant be THAAT far off
He did run block ok....but just look at the Broncos running stats and you can see how well the group didn't do. Maybe it was my imagination though and I was so used to that offensive line failing I associated him with it too.
It's been pretty dead lately... but the Raiders just re-signed Aldon Smith, though he's going to be suspended until mid-november. I'd have to assume it's a deal that goes for at least 2 seasons. He was playing better and better last season as the weeks went by, and seemed to have his head on straight throughout the season and the current offseason so far.
Raiders also meeting with Reggie Nelson tomorrow to fill the void left by Charles Woodson. Nelson would be an upgrade, but I'm wary of adding too many starters in one free agent class. We need to continue to draft really well, because Carr and Mack are going to be due for massive paychecks in the 2018 offseason and we've signed a couple of pricey guys this year already.
