Funny how Austin Rivers always thinks he's MJ when he plays us.

Since the 2014 season, we've played the Clips 11 times. We won 6 vs their 5. In our playoff series, they won in 7, and we had several guys crap the bed. I realize they are a tough matchup for us, but it's not like these guys are head and shoulders ahead of us. Just a team that plays us well and vice versa.

It's not like they should feel super confident playing us either.

Just embrace the compe ion. Our bench is certainly better than theirs, and we have advantages just as they do.

Breaking even against a non-contender is very bad... Besides, we replaced Duncan with Gasol. Literally a tiers lower in defense.

It was close because Griffin choked in games 2 and 5 while Tim looked 10 years younger the whole series. Should've been a 5 games series win for LAC. This iteration of the Spurs lost any ability to match up with them as Tony declined.

Griffin played poorly, but we had Kawhi/Manu/Mills etc.. all struggle too at some point.

Not to mention they had HCA. Sometimes that's all the difference

Mills was the Spurs' only consistently good guard that series. Not sure where you got the idea he struggled that series.
